Y/n woke up the next day to find herself in the arms of Tko. He squeezed her tight, obviously not going to release her anytime soon.

She pushed his arms off, not caring if he woke up. He groaned and turned over, not ready to wake up. Y/n stood up and grabbed a long sleeve shirt, pulling it over her shirt. She walked over to the window and opened the blindes, allowing more natural light to shine in. She took the end of her sleeve and wiped the dirt off, cleaning it a little.

"What are you doing?" She heard Tko mumble from behind. She turned to him and saw him shielding his eyes from the light. Y/n smiled.

"It's pretty late. We slept in. I'm sure KO and Dendy are already up." Y/n said. Tko groaned and stood up, making his way out of the room. Y/n followed, and walked into the living room, but KO and Dendy were no where to be found. "Huh. They must have slept in too."

Y/n shrugged it off and walked into the kitchen, opening the fridge and grabbing some tea.

"Your voice sounds normal. Is the sickness gone?" Tko asked. Y/n sipped her tea.

"Must be." She said as she walked outside onto the deck. Tko followed. They sat at a glass table that had an umbrella over it. Y/n set her tea down and put her head down on the table.

"Hey, Y/n?" Tko asked as he scooted his chair closer to her. She looked up at him.

"Yeah?" She raised an eyebrow.

"What's the grey stripe in your hair mean?" Tko asked. Y/n went quiet for a moment, looking out into the distance.

"It stands for my emotion. It's the color for confusion and sadness. Loneliness, lost. It's a common color for me." Y/n said.

"What about happiness? What color is that?" He asked.

"White."

"Have you ever been happy?" He questioned. Y/n's face saddened.

"Yeah. Back when I still had... Lana..." Y/n sighed. She suddenly felt something on her hand. She looked over at it, and saw his hand on her own. She looked up at him and smiled. "Can I tell you something?"

"Yeah. Go ahead. What is it?" He asked.

"My powers... They aren't just emotions... I can see people's... People's soul mates." Y/n said. Tko's eyes widened.

"Like, the people they'll fall in love with?" He asked.

"Not just anyone, the people they were born to be with." Y/n said.

"Do I have one?" He asked, curious.

"Not one. Two." Y/n corrected.

"Two? Who are they?" Tko asked.

"I don't know one, but the other..." Y/n turned away. Tko gripped her hand tighter.

"Who's the other?" He asked, getting anxious.

"It's... Me." Y/n said, not looking at him. He suddenly let go of her hand.

"You?" He asked, eyes wide. He slowly stood up from his seat. "No. No way. You're lying!"

"Believe it or not, I don't care. But I just told you something I've known for a long time. I've known for years that I was your soul mate. But we can't be together." Y/n said.

"W-Why not?" Tko asked, shaken by what she had said.

"It doesn't matter. We can't be together, that's all that matters." Y/n said, not looking at him. She took a sip of her tea.

"Wait... Is this why you're always sad? Because we can't be together?" Tko asked. Y/n shrugged.

"I guess that's part of it." She said. Tko looked at the ground and sighed.

"I'm going in to find something to eat." He said as he walked inside.

He walked up to the counter, and placed his head on it. This was a lot to process. Y/n had the ability to see people's soul mates, she sort of liked him, and he's part of the reason she's so sad.

He suddenly felt guilty for making her this way. He's never even talked to her before a few days ago, and so much had happened ever since. Lana, Y/n's power, and now him? Y/n was far more than he had ever imagined her to be like. She's definitely not like she seems.

Tko opened a glass container, holding cookies. He grabbed and ate it. He looked at another one before sighing.

Y/n sat outside on the deck still, sipping her tea. She wasn't thinking about anything, she couldn't think at the moment. She was just too zoned out to care at the moment.

She suddenly saw a cookie in front of her. She looked to the side and saw Tko. She smiled and took the cookie. Tko sat down next to her. She placed her head on his shoulder.

"We're still friends, right?" Y/n asked.

"Yeah. Friends." Tko sighed.
