Emotionally (Jasper Hale x Reader)

" Did Carlisle give you some sort of medicine?" Jasper suddenly asked. He seemed like he was holding his breath. I was confused but I hesitantly nodded and I took out that bottle.

"Yeah. He said I need to take it twice a day" I explained as Jasper nodded understandingly. I took out three pills as I put two into my mouth and chewed, the taste was interesting.

"You want some? It's just vitamin." I gave that one pill to him, he thanked me then swallowed it whole, he seemed to be more comfortable. Yet I realized that I was still holding his arm and he was still pinning my hand onto his, I was totally embarrassed. I laughed at myself.

" What's funny?" Jasper smiled as he joined the atmosphere.

"Nothing...just...I kinda like it when you act this way. You are not as cold as I think you are.....Jass." I said honestly as he smiled, turning his face to the window then he turned back. Acting nervously. Before he could say anything, the bus had arrived at the destination.

"Let's go." He said, stood up quickly as he grabbed my arm, swiftly went off the bus.

"Woah." I almost slipped as he was fast. We got out immediately as I saw the rest of the Cullens and sis, she was with Edward.

" Avoid him. I don't want you to get hurt." Jasper said as he held my arm tight, I saw him glanced quickly at my wrist as he turned away. He had been very supportive and kind since the day I was in the hospital, he changed for all of a sudden...and strange feelings just poured into me again and again when I was with him and I was kinda like it somehow...

The students poured out in a minute and everybody was in line. We were in the middle while sis and Edward were somewhere at the bottom. We entered the greenhouse, there was full of plants and biology stuff. My eyes followed everything greeny, examined everything, kinda interesting.

" Flowers, trees...it all have emotions..." Jasper mumbled as he smiled, his eyes were traveling around, his hands were in his pockets as he followed my steps, his words were meaningful and mysterious.

"Why do you think they have emotions?" I started to ask, interested in what he said. He smiled, looking at me as I looked at him back.

"Then why did you use "they" instead of "it"? " He said with a smile of victory, noticing every word as I was pretty surprised and didn't how to answer, he was smart. I punched playfully on his shoulder, bit my lips as I was totally backfired. We continued walking and viewed some plants and flowers, the teacher was also introduced us fertilizer for the plants, some information about biology and so on. Finally, we finished our "journey" and we were outside, readied to leave. I and Jasper were still with each other like we were best friends. We chatted along the way, we walked slowly as we didn't want to leave yet, everything seemed to be invisible when I around him.

"I think we shouldn't be friends" I heard Bell's voice, my heart skipped a beat as I heard she said that. She was standing next to a bus, with Edward and they were talking about something. Jasper was also seeing this as he grabbed my hand tightly.

"You really should've figured that out earlier" Edward argued back, seemed like it was because of me that Bell was arguing with him.

"Look, my sister was just do something that's right. Why did you have to do this?" Bell said again, raising her tone.

"Why don't you look at my point of view. You and your sis. Don't know anything..." Edward said slowly, tried to defend his words. But he was right somehow, I was the one who made this fault. I bit my lips and looked down a bit. Suddenly Jasper let go of my hand, angrily, as I could see, and stomped heavily on the ground, went to them.
