Emotionally (Jasper Hale x Reader)

The chills went down to my spine, I was horrified, my face went white, I couldn't believe what was in front of my eyes. I was gasping heavily for air as I holding my mouth, my legs were petrified and my eyes were full of tears, I didn't dare to stare at the body. Jasper looked at me as he walked towards, trying to touch me with his bare hand.

"Don't!...touch me!" I shouted, pointed bravely at him as I stepping back, looking for something to defend myself, Jasper just stayed silent.

"I don't know what is freaking going on. You just...kill that guy! You were so fast!? You..you...what are you?" I panicked, tears just rushed out of my eyes continuously.

"Y/n...I know that you are scared.. but I'm not gonna hurt you..." Jasper explained, he stepped forward as I stepped back, I was trying so hard to calm down but couldn't. Then Jasper rushed with high speed towards me and suddenly hugged me tightly, his body touched mine, I couldn't respond to that quick movement as I froze.

" I..I..".- "Shhhh...Keep calm, keep calm...I'll explained everything as soon as I burn the body..." He held my head firmly, my head rested on his shoulder, his voice deepened as I tried to remain calm. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly, Jasper let me go, looked at me but then closed his eyes immediately, hands still holding my arms. I was still slightly scared but I could feel a little something that flowed into me that made my heart beat slower, strangely.

"You are hard to feel anything...or control somehow..." Jasper said as I confused, he let out a sigh but there was no breath....he walked towards the body, I followed his steps as he was regaining my trust, I was staying silent.

"We are most likely to be called...vampires...or stoned face, that's what the dogs called us." He started to explain. I was shocked.

"Dogs?" I asked in confusion, raising my eyebrows. Jass didn't say anything, he grinned instead and he took out a box of matches then took out one match, lit it and threw it into the "lifeless" body, I wanted to vomit right then. The fire spread quickly as the body burned, gas was everywhere, I stepped back, holding Jasper's arm as we were starring deep into the fire. I didn't know why he did that...

"The werewolves, the dogs, are the same." He continued to answer my question and smiled, I swallowed, didn't know why he was so calm as I quickly forgot about he was a vampire.

"To kill a vampire...you just have to cut off its head and burn all of its body...That's what I'm doing now..." he said sarcastically and smiling at me, trying to comfort the situation. He had prepared for this.

"How did you find me? How did you know I was here?" I asked suspiciously as we walking away from the fire, Jasper put his hands into his pockets as he stared down the ground, still walking.

"We have extraordinary powers, I can hear you and smell you miles away and some have their own uniqueness...actually your scents are easy to track, your scents are so....seductive." He said as we stopped, we locked eyes, my heart bounding and bet that I blushed at that time. I looked down, biting my lower lip, shy of what he said..then I raised my head looked at him, he smiled gently as we jogged down the road again.

"Your feelings right now are the best things for me to imagine." He looked up to the dark sky as the moon reflected in his beautiful eyes. I joined him, a shooting star blurry passed by, I gave out a gentle smile, the wind whispered to my ears, cool and nice. ( I couldn't believe I made a poem though, I just realized that).

" I have the ability to feel and control others' emotions, Pathokinesis, related to that." He said, turned to face me.

" But...You are the most mysterious woman I've ever met, your emotions....make me confused, make me curious, made me want to get to know you....more" He continued, his eyes were sparkling as he smiled, he was gorgeous.

"Still...Your smell makes me go nuts, Carlisle had to put me on a very special diet, ya know. That's why I said I feel uncomfortable when I'm around you...I just want to resist...prevent myself...from killing you" He chuckled but turned into a serious voice immediately, he told from the bottom of his heart, he made me melted, his words, his accent, all just wanted to explain the unforgivable truth, to him, it was bitter tastes.

"Your emotions right now are a random mess...but I want to know the main thing that you feel right now...what you feel about me...." He said as his eyes locked to mine, we were an inch away...

"I feel safe...And nervous when I'm around you......something that encourages me to approach you..." I said in hesitation as my heart beat rapidly again. He smiled, turning his back as he bent down, patted on his shoulders as he was signaling something.

"Come on! I'll carry you home, it's pretty late." His words made me stunned, I was neither exciting nor scared but my feet didn't follow my order as I jumped on his back, Jass made a huff sound and he laughed.

" You sure are lighter than a feather." He said then he stood up, his arms were supporting me. He was strong.

" Hold on tight. I know the shortest way to your house. The forest.-"Wha..?!" I didn't finish my sentence as he quickly and swiftly passed through the narrow road. I was losing my balance so I grabbed his shirt tightly, the wind and air just striking my face, it was freezing than ever, and all things became so blurry, I had to narrow my eyes. He passed through the forest in a blink of an eye, the dark and humid forest, I had never had a chance to go in here, this was a tour for a second. Then he stopped in a sudden, we were at my house's backyard, I saw Bell's shadow through a window but she didn't saw me. I couldn't imagine feeling the supernatural power in real life.

Jass quietly put me down as I felt a little bit nausea, he supported me to stand straight.

"Sorry for running too fast" He innocently whispered, as I nodded and smiled.

" I have to thank you for saving my life...and don't worry, I won't tell anybody about this, I understand. Well, see you later." I whispered back, I still felt the butterflies in my stomach, being closer to him than ever was the best thing that happened to me at that time. I waved at him as a goodbye and turned my back, readied to leave.

"Will you go to the ball with me?" He said in abruptness as my heart skipped a beat, my eyes widen, I was full of excitement. I turned around again, smiling as I ran towards him, hugged him tightly, I didn't even know why I was so confident to do that. But soon after, he hugged me back, the bond was strong to feel, it was amazing.

"Of course, I will go to the ball with you" I whispered gently to his ear, we were still hugging.

"Are we dating now?" I continued as He chuckled, let go of me, smiling happily, as he leaned forward and grabbed my hands.

Third POV

Jasper grabbed y/n's hands for the second time, but this time, it was special. Although his hands were cold, his attitude was warm enough to heated y/n's heart. Both were not expected to be with each other in this situation, they were both afraid, both were concern about what happened if a vampire and a human being together. But We all knew one thing that nobody could separate them. Jasper nodded as an agreement, he lifted her hands and kissed it gratefully, this time, it was more passionate than the last time, and we all could feel it. They were unconditionally in love with each other.

Y/n waved again and said goodbye to Jasper, she was so excited as it was the happiest day of her life though she had almost been killed. But while Jasper was running back to his home, he didn't know how to express his feelings right now, afraid, satisfied, concern, but he knew that he must protect y/n for all costs.
