Be Mine (ForthBeam)

The Fifth Avenue Cafe and Bar

Forth and Beam sat nervously in a very familiar bar in Bangkok. They were on the second floor where it's more cafe-like than the bar on the third floor.

They were just back from Beam's parents house. The very sleepy Mint finally fell a sleep and now her head resting on Forth lap as the three of them sat on the sofa in the corner of the cafe.

"Why are we here again?" Beam asked.

"Meeting your gang and mine."Forth answered.

"Why it has to be this place out of all place?"

"Well.. we are going to meet Lam, and he owns this place, it's natural for us to meet them here. Why found other cafe when your close friend owns one?"

Beam only silent and nodding lightly.

"Why? You remember something? Getting some of flashback?" Forth chuckled.

Beam's eyes widened and said, "Never ever brought that topic again."

Forth chuckled. Just then Lam come to approach them.

"Beam! It's been a long time!" Lam tapped on Beam's shoulder as he sat beside Forth, a bit far because of the sleeping Mint on his lap.

"Hi Lam, well we met like a few months a go on Ming's wedding." Beam answered.

"Well yeah. I mean it's been really a long time since you come here.. Ten years is it? Because you stopped playing, i lost one of my precious costumer!"

Beam chuckled, "Well.. you bar is growing bigger and bigger though without me."

The three of them chat for a while before two set of couples come to them.

"Hi, sorry.. are we late?" Phana said as he sat down beside Beam, Wayo following beside him.

"Not really.." Beam answered.

"I was about to reject your offer to meet here because i have dinner date with Ming, but i change my mind because you mentioned Forth." Kit said to Beam. "Hi Forth, long time no see" He reached out his hand and shake Forth's.

"Yeah hi.. Sorry i didn't make it to your wedding." Forth said.

"It's fine.. So you're settle here now?" Kit asked again.

Forth answered with a nod.

"Is that your daugther? Pha talked a lot about her.."

"Yes. She's exhausted. It's been a long day for her today." Forth answered.

"So.. why are we here na p?" Ming asked.

"Well.. actually i also asked Park to come here. But he can't make it..." Forth said as he looked at both Phana and Wayo.

"We are good with him already. It's not because of us.." Pha assured him.

"Well.. okay.. I think we should start now.." Forth said as he looked at Beam this time.

"I-" Beam started. "I mean We-" He was nervous as hell. "We are getting married."

Phana, Wayo, Kit, Ming, and Lam was silent. None of them responded. None of the move they just.. stare at Beam.

"Who?" Lam began to ask.

"We.. I.. Getting married. Me and... " He pointed his index finger to Forth.

All of the boys following Beam's finger and looked at Forth. Blinking. Asking for explanation.

"Beam and I are getting married." There he said it.
