Forth Apartment

45 minutes after Beam called his mom, she came to the apartment right away, she's on a day off too anyway. Forth was sleeping in the bedroom, when Beam's mom cooked porridge for his son in-law. Beam sat beside Mint as the girl was watching TV.

"Daddy okay mommy? Daddy go to hospital like Mint?" Mint asked.

"Daddy is okay dear, just one night sleep and he will heal fast!" Beam explained. "But, Daddy doesn't want Mint to be sick so tonight Mint will play with grandmom na?"

"With pretty grandma? And grandpa?"

"With pretty grandma and kind grandmom, Mint." Beam ruffles her hair.

(a/n i made a difference here, grandma for Beam's mom, grandmom for Forth's mom)

"Yayy!" Mint said.

"Are you okay to be here alone?" His mom now asked.

"Okay na mae.. I'm a doctor. Taking care a fever would be so easy. Thank you for bringing the meds anyway."

"I made some tea too, its for curing flu. You can ask him to drink it later." His mother said. Beam's mother also studied traditional medicines, so she knew about natural medicines like tea and stuffs.

Beam nodded at his mother's advice.

They talked and waited for Forth's mother to come. Beam was glad that she found a flight right away and went there without second thoughts. She went by herself since her husband was abroad and P'Feme was in the office like usual.

About one and a half hour after that, Forth's mother came bringing only one handy bag and a plastic of fruits. 

"Sorry, i take so much time to arrive.." The woman said. "Good afternoon, Dr. Baramee." she shook Beam's mother's hand.

"I told you to call me Jennis, Fai." Beam's mother said.

"How can i call a respectable doctor like you by your name. I'm just a stay-at-home mom." Forth's mother said.

"We are in laws, it's fine." Jennis said.

Forth's mother dropped her bags and looking at the now sleeping Mint in the sofa. She knotted her eyebrows.

"She refused to sleep in her room, she wants to be near Forth." Beam explained.

"Okay that make sense." The older woman headed towards her son's bedroom and look at the sleeping Forth, that was covered by blanket, sleeping in the same pose as Mint.

"They are indeed a like.." His mother said as she closed the door and let her son sleep.

Beam took Mint's bag, which was full of her clothes, drink, and her favorite doll Rosie.

"I have pack everything here. If you need anything just call me." Beam said as he handed Fai the bag.

"I know what to do. I'm her grandmother, i have two kids dear.." Fai said as she took the bag.

"Oops sorry. Habit." Beam said and face palming himself in his mind.

Fai smiled at Beam's action, 'cute' she thought. She looked away from him and faced his mom. "You are okay with me sleeping in your house, Jen? Or should I book a hotel now?"
