From 4.08 "Smash the Mirror Part 1", in Saphira's Room, Saphira showed the book to Derek.

Freya/Priscilla: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Once Upon a Time)."

Saphira looked at Derek. "It's a magical storybook which we're all written into."

From 4.08 "Smash the Mirror Part 1", in Granny's diner, Derek showed the storybook to Robin and Will. "This storybook could change the futures of Alcina and Saphira, and perhaps Regina, maybe even Tori and Mathias, for the better."

From 4.08 "Smash the Mirror Part 1", in flashback, Blake showed the urns to Elsa and Anna. "And now I'm gonna make sure no one can ever trap anyone inside them ever again, if I can help it."

From 4.07 and 4.08, there were flashes of Lisa and Blake losing control.

Lisa: (voice over from 4.08 Smash the Mirror Part 1) "Our magic is hurting people, Gold. People I love. People Blake is starting to care about."

From 4.08 "Smash the Mirror Part 1", in the pawnshop, Gold showed Lisa and Blake the map. "You meet me here at sundown. I'll have everything prepared."

From 4.08 "Smash the Mirror Part 1", in the ice cave, Ingrid found herself trapped.

"Remember the urns?" Gold asked. "They had the power to limit your magic. The dust won't last long."

Later, Ingrid used her power to spy on Lisa and Blake through the mirror.

Ingrid: (voice over from 4.08 Smash the Mirror Part 1) "When I escape, there will be a terrible price to pay."

From 4.08 "Smash the Mirror Part 1", in the pawnshop, Ingrid used her power to astral project herself to see the Hatters, Matthews, Elsa and Alcina, making them all jump and be on alert. "I know Rumplestiltskin has the spell we all need to help us reunite Lisa and Blake, and since I can't do it myself, I need you to."

"Why?" Freya asked suspiciously.

"Because if you don't, Lisa and Blake will meet a fate far worse than death," Ingrid answered. "Please. Help me save my children."

Night - Castle - Dungeon

Elsa, Anna and Blake were on their way back to Anna's cell with the urns, coming across a sleeping guard.

"He looks peaceful," Blake told them. "Though you should probably look into hiring some new guards when this is all over."

Elsa nodded. "Smart. Anna, are you sure you're gonna be okay down here?"

"Yes," Anna answered. "It's not as bad as it looks, except for the darkness, and the darkness and the mice.. who are cute, when they're not scurrying over your toes. But I have shoes. I promise, I'll be fine."

"And we promise we won't be long," Blake told her. "As soon as we return to the palace, we'll tell Mother you're to be banished and that she's to see to your punishment personally."

Anna nodded. "Then when she comes down here, we'll surprise her with the cell. Not like a party 'surprise!' Something more dour to match the occasion, like 'surprise'."

"What if something goes wrong?" Blake asked. "I should come down here, too, just in case. I mean, we're giving my mother a second chance, not damning her for eternity."
