"Wheres Deceit?"

All the joy seemed to be sucked from the room and the noise along with it. Well, except for Roman choking on some corn chips. Logan stood up and started doing the heimlich maneuver on the choking Princey. Patton looked like he was ready to die and Virgil made eye contact with Thomas. "Uh... Thomas..."

Thomas bit his lip before finally talking. "We don't really invite him to these types of things... we can uh... summon if you really want to met him..." Anxiety groaned "Why would any one want to see that snake?" Logan responded even though he was still trying to get the chips out of Roman's throat. "P/P apparently..."

"I mean..." I stuttered out. I didn't mean to create chaos. I was just curious. "I'd love to meet all your sides, not just your main ones. N-not just Deceit... it's not like I have a snake fetish!" That... came out weird... Virgil gave me a 'I hope you know how bad that sounds' face. "I still don't think it's a good idea for you to met Thomas' dark sides..." Logan muttered, finally freeing Roman's throat.

I sighed and nodded.

*TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY MY DEPRESSION*

Did I come off as creepy? Wanting to met Deceit. Not just the dark sides, Deceit specifically. I mean, to be fair Deceit is the only dark side in the series, except Virgil I guess. Speaking of Virgil, he seems... off. Does talking about Deceit offend him? I felt a hand on my shoulder, snapping. I quickly realised it was Virgil.

"You good, Y/N?" I nodded silently, looking around the room. Patton had fallen asleep on Logan's shoulder. Thomas was snoring loudly on the floor. Roman was lying on Virgil's lap. Everyone was asleep except for me and Virgil. He rolled his eyes and sighed. "You know, if you're sure you really want to met to Deceit, though I understand why you would... I can introduce you... to him, obviously"

I was surprised by the gesture. "But I thought you hated Deceit..." He scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Who said I didn't? Just because I avoid him like the plague doesn't mean I don't know where to find him..." I felt a smile tug at my lips. That's actually really sweet.  I kinda felt bad for all the horrible things I had said about my Anxiety. "If you don't mind..."

He was about to get up when he noticed Roman start to stir. "Oh fuck..." We started to panic as Roman opened his eyes. He noticed our shocked expressions and silence covered the room. The air tension so thin you could cut it in half with a pocketknife. "You didn't hear anything, did you?" I managed to stutter out. Roman nodded.

"You want to come, don't you?" I turned my attention toward Virgil who had his arms crossed in annoyance. "Of course, I'm not letting you go into that snake's domain without backup. I care about you... two." I felt like such a third wheel. "Besides, I'm bored and I hadn't been on a good adventure in a while..."

"Roman, this isn't some dragon witch! It's freaking venomous snake! It's Deceit! He could really do some awful things to you!" He quickly shut his mouth. I was shocked by his sudden outburst but what perplexed me even more was Roman's response. "Virgil, look at me." He lifted the anxious traits chin. "I want to take care of you. You're very special to me."

Roman swallowed, why was he nervous? "But if you really don't want me to come, I'll stay behind and protect from you a far by keeping your secret from the others." The prince grabbed Virgil's hand and kissed it softly before going to the kitchen to make a sandwich. "Wow, you two seem close~" I teased. "Shut up!"
