Tony Stark X OC: What We've Been Through.

Emily's POV:

When I walked into the house and shut the door, I saw Lilly by the blinds with a huge smirk on her face. "What?" I asked. "Who was that?" She said with a sly tone. "He was no one," I said trying to get rid of the blush on my face. "Oh, really? Cause he looked like Tony Stark to me." Her smile got bigger, "Is that where you ran off to last night?" I felt my face get ten times redder, "I-it's not like that." I slightly cursed myself for stuttering. "Oh. well,  I guess I'll cancel the double date with Thor then." My eyes widened with shock. "You'll WHAT!!!!" She laughed and looked at me with playful sad eyes as she pulled out her phone. "Wait!!" I said, "When is it?" She smiled again and said, "In two weeks at our favorite restaurant." I looked at the calendar, "I'm free for Sunday but that's obvious seeing as how it's my only day off." She gave me a look that said 'dude today is Sunday' and I told her that I knew that. "So does that mean we're going?" She asked with a hopeful look in her eyes. "Yes, it does," I sighed. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Nothing. Did he give you any trouble when you got home last night?" I asked. "Who are you talking abou... Oh! No, I sent him home and he just kind of wobbled out the door. Kind of surprising that he listened." Yeah surprising I thought. "Hey, what's wrong? I can see that you're upset." I sighed again, "What if he doesn't actually like me? And I'm not just saying that because of him being known as a playboy, but what if he doesn't like me because I'm me? what if he thinks I'm fat or ugly or too loud or annoying...." She cut me off by pulling me into a hug and it wasn't until then that I realized I was crying. "I'm just a big crybaby!" I sobbed. She pulled away and looked at me, "Hey, We are best friends, and if he hurts you then he will never see the light of day again. Plus, this is just an opportunity to get to know him, he doesn't even know the real you yet. The beautiful, strong, and dependent woman that you are on the inside," she smiled and gave me another hug, I cried in her arms out of joy that I had a friend as great as her and then wiped my tears. "Best friends forever?" I asked in a childish voice. "Best friends forever," she said and we both fell asleep hugging each other.
