On to the story....

Amber's POV

My heart dropped when I was the mys - Gareth looked at me smirking. I looked back at Cristiano who was giving me a WTF look, I turned back to Gareth. He was still smirking at me.

“Hello, I am Gareth Bale and you are?” he said sticking his hand out.

I slide my hand in his and gave him a small smile, “Amber Smith”

“Nice to meet you Ms. Smith” he said kissing my hand. I looked back for Cristiano who was talking to one of the coaches. “So Cristiano is that boyfriend of yours?”

“No duh, sherlock” I said rolling my eyes at him.

“I figured when I saw him leave the game in the same car as you, tell me why haven’t I seen you at any of his games?”

“I go to his games, last game I didn’t go because I wasn’t feeling good. The other games I was there in the sky box. I watch the game but I don’t pay attention to any of the other players, just Cristiano” I told him.

“Why is that?” he asked.

“Well, I really didn’t know much about soccer, er, futbol and I ONLY have eyes for Cristiano” I said. He a look like he didn’t believe that. It true though because I only see Cristiano on the field and just watch him do his magic. I don’t really care about anyone else.

“We will see” He said smirking giving me this weird unexplainable feeling.

I felt a hand go around my waist and I looked up to see Cristiano smirking down at me. Looking at him be so light and playful gave me butterflies but in the back of my mind I couldn’t help but feel a little guilty for my whatever feelings I have towards Gareth.

“I am glad you met my teammate, this was the guy I told you I was going to lunch with earlier today. I think we will be good friends and great in the pinch together” Cristiano said to me then looked at Gareth who was still smirking. I don’t like that smirking it was sexy but extremely creepy at the same time. I felt like he was planning something, something big and I didn’t like that at all.

Cristiano walked way pulling me with him. He wanted to do some more mingling, he introduced me to some of the other people their that wasn’t apart of the club. You know, the local celebrities. I met this lady, Angelique Vega, who worked for the local magazine company in the area, called Port Insider. The magazine featured everything that went on in Portugal as far as the entertainment industry. Cristiano boasted about how I worked with Peyton Lawton. Angelique was from what I saw was very impressed and gave me her business card and told me to come to her office Monday morning. I was excited and very appreciative for Cristiano helping me but in the back of my mind I felt bad because it made me feel like I was using him.

After a while Cristiano dragged me to the dance floor when Michel Telo’s ‘Ai Se Eu Te Pego’ came on. Seeing him, Pepe, Marcelo and some other guy whose name I forgot dancing around. Cristiano went for the easy moves because I guess he was to cool but he still looked like a fool. Saying that Pepe and Marcelo was dancing like fools was an understatement, luckily those guys can play futbol because their dancing was way off. I couldn’t decided whether that awful dancing or they was just trying to be funny either way it was making me laugh and have a good time.
