Lapis's POV
UUUUGGHHH. Why won't she reform?
I was sitting on the ground. Peridot's gem laid gently on a blanket. It was raining heavily outside. You could hear every drop. I sighed. The barn is always so boring without her.

One week ago

"Steven? What should I do now?" I asked him. Peridot poofed a few minutes ago and Garnet left with Pearl to talk to Jasper. Of course they left me and Amethyst with Steven. I swear the next time when I see Jasper I'm gonna make her to sh-
"Can Peridot stay here? I'm just worried about her." Steven was sad.
"O-of course Steven. Is it okay if I stay here too?" I asked. "Sure. Wait a minute I'm gonna bring a blanket for her." I nodded. "I swear I'm gonna shatter her." Amethyst was standing in front of me. She looked at the gem with a furious expression. "C-can I hold her for a moment?" She asked me. For what? I gave her the little green thing. The purple gem took it. Then she started to...blush? Why is she blushing? I swear if she loves my Peri...
Amethyst chuckled. "Don't even think about it. I don't love her like you do. Don't worry." I looked away. "I...um.."
"HA LAPPY IS JELLY!" She laughed. I blushed of embarrassment. "I'm...not."
"Yeah sure whatever you say Laz. I was just thinking about...someone." Amethyst blushed again. But then she shook her head. "Nevermind." I shrugged. The smaller one kissed Peridot's gem. I growled quietly.
"Calm down will ya? Everything is fine. I'm just worried okay? She is my best buddy after all." Best buddys don't kiss each other. "That wasn't necessary..." I grumbled. She smirked evily. "I'll tell Peridot everything HAHAHA. She won't believe me that you're jealous." She almost screamed. My face heated up. "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" I said coldly. She gulped. "Haha Lapis you're so funny." She laughed nervously. "I'm not joking." I said with no expression. Amethyst quickly gave me the gem. "I got a go! See ya!" She ran towards her room. Heh... it's her own fault. I giggled. "I'm back and what was going on?" Steven came back. "Oh um nothing." I blushed a bit. "Well...then...um here. We could wrap her gem with the blanket." He took the gem and wraped it carefully. "See?" The little boy put the gem on his bed. "You can watch Camp Pining Hearts if you want." I sat next to the gem. Steven turned the tv on. "I'll sleep on the couch. Don't worry it's fine okay?" I hesitated for a moment but then nodded.
2 hours later.
"But Paulette I need you." I groaned. "Percy are you serious?" It was...what was the name? Ah yeah it was midnight? Well Steven went to sleep and the other were no where to be seen. So I just sit on the bed with Peri's gem. It's so...quiet. She was always arguing about Percy and Paulette. It was kinda funny. I giggled about the thought. I guess I'll go for some fresh 'air'. Steven always said something like that. What's air? Whatever. I stood up and went outside. I summoned my wings and flew near to the beach. I sat on the shore. The waves were touching my toes while I thought about everything.
One year on this planet. It's my home. With my friends I guess. Wait what if Jasper already called the diamonds? I'm so afraid of the diamonds. What if they'll come to earth? I don't want to fight. It's always the same. War is useless. I sighed.
"I can't fight. Not again." I sighed. "What will Peridot think? What if the diamonds shatter us? What if something bad happens?" I asked myself. "Well, what if something good happens?" I heard a voice behind me. It was Steven. "Steven! You're awake. Are you okay?" I asked worriedly. He sat next to me. "I'm fine. I just wanted to go for some fresh air." I giggled. "Lapis, why are you so scared?" He asked. I looked away. "It's just...I don't want to fight Steven. If they diamonds really come, I will leave, maybe." The boy was at first shocked but then he looked sad. "I don't know what to say...". I sobbed a little. "Lapis? You okay?" I want to try it.
I started to sing:
