Defying The Fates

Ophelia had been drained out of energy after the battle with Tyson and with her team mates muttering words of suspicion and relief almost drove her insane .

But this was the feeling she had wanted to feel for so long . The feeling of acceptance and the feeling of love and warmth was something she had lost since that day .

She smiled inwardly thinking about the things a person's over protectiveness could do . Sometimes it can make you insane . Sometimes it can make you irritated . And sometimes it makes you reach your true potential .
She had experienced all of it .
When she was four , she had insisted to jump along with Liam into the waterfall . He denied her but still she went . When she jumped , Liam held her tightly like as if she was a rare Jade which could be stolen anytime . She was so mad at him for not letting her try it herself and didn't speak to him for one whole week . It was the longest she grudged against him . Now when she thinks of it , she realises that he was actually teaching her to rely on people when she is an amateur .
And yet she failed to understand it then.

" You have been spacing out a lot these days Pearl . " Ray exclaimed and stopped Ophelia from reminiscing her past further .

" I too have observed that ." Hiro added giving a look of suspicion which she avoided very naturally .

" I've observed that too ." Phi replied while scratching her head lazily pretending to be oblivious of the look she was getting from Ray and Hiro.

" Fine . Let's go back ." Kenny said and helped Tyson get up . As Max was about to help Ophelia stand up , she stood up as fast as wind and ran towards the direction of the camp .

" Who's gonna reach first ? It's Ophelia Ophelia " She screamed and ran swiftly. 

" Whoa .... a challenge eh ? But ...Who is Ophelia ? " Max questioned and was answered with silence .
But it was sure that all of their gazes held unanswered questions brewing with a storm of suspicion .
