The End of Days

Footsteps were heard coming into the room which looked like a small office with a desk, a couple chairs, a computer and a couple TV monitors showing what was happening in the interrogation room.

Every crucial bit of data was all capture on Camera as they never blinked from the shadows. With the 'Mask One' Still in there giving the detectives All the information they want to hear from him right down to the smallest detail.

"How Long have they been in there" a female pink hedgehog voice ask as she sits down next to Knuckles, who has been watching the interrogation right from the beginning when they brought the Jackal out of his cell.

He looks over at her and sits up in his chair letting out a yawn.

"About for the last fifteen hours" he said rubbing one of his eyes.

"You tired?"

"Yes Amy, i am"

"Well get some rest then" Amy said to the red Echidna before looking at one of the monitors to see Infinite and Vector chatting away at the details the Jackal was giving the crocodile but there was no bee "where's Charmy?"

"I had to take him out of there, he fell asleep and Vector didn't want his snoring to interrupt the interrogation" Knuckles replied with another yawn as he closes his eyes and leans back in his chair

Amy frowns at him with a small nod before hearing knuckles snore loud surprises he would snore that loud.

"Guess I'll take over while he sleeps" she thought to herself before turning back to the monitors.

Just watching him give detail after detail of the crimes he was wanted for in the Files. It completely disgusted him that this monster, sitting across the table, would have the nerve to be completely calm and relax like everything was going to be okay for him.

He's had to take a few coffee breaks to keep himself awake from falling asleep on the Jackal. The mask one was very patience and understanding to let him take those coffee breaks and wait in the room while he left to go get coffee.

"I come back each time and he hasn't left nor try to even escape, he just looks at the table like he's waiting for something, i even offer him some and he politely refuse, weird"

Vector cleared his throat getting the Jackal attention.

"So....that's a pretty perfect explanation you gave me with everything you've done even right down to the smallest of details and...you admit all of it?"

"Of course, I admit everything" Infinite nodded his head very calmly

The crocodile clentch his jaw and rubs his chin. Something wasn't right here, this powerful and dangerous Jackal had just confess everything and yet has been very cooperative. What was he up too?

"Maybe I'm overthinking this too much..well only one thing left to do"

Vector reaches over towards the file, moving several papers out of the way and takes out a yellow sheet of paper.

"Since you've told me everything and admitting to confessing all these crimes, you wouldn't mind signing your confession would you? along with your signature?" Vector ask sliding the paper including a pen over to the Jackal.

Infinite looked down at the piece of paper as he could hear a low hum coming from the Phantom Ruby. He close the one eye being shown while Vector moves his eyes over too one of the empty chairs like he was looking at something before looking back at the Jackal.

The Jackal open his eye, reaches over grabbing the pen and starts writing his confession briefly looking up at vector for a moment, seeing a small smile form on the crocodile jaw, then looks back down at the paper continue writing his confession.

"They think with this confession and those two security cameras that they'll have everything to keep me from seeing the light of day again...there will be no light"

He finish writing everything along with putting his signature at the very bottom of the paper. Vector was going to reach over and grab the paper but Infinite insteads turns the paper to the other side and starts writing numbers.

"What are you doing?" Vector ask the Jackal watching him write those numbers.

"In two days.."

The crocodile tilted his head a little before grabbing a hold of the paper but Infinite kept his grip on it writing faster like his hand was not in control.

"In two days...your so called Allies, G.U.N, with cause tensions...the so called 'Co-existence' between humans and Mobians will slowly begin to break...followed by!.."

"Uh...Right?"

Vector grips the paper with a tug as Infinite lets go. He calmly puts the cap back on the pen before lightly tossing it over to Vector.

The pen lands on the file as Vector sits back down examining the paper of numbers the Jackal wrote on the back.

"What are these numbers?" Vector asked the Jackal Ignoring what he said to him when he was writing the numbers on the paper

Infinite didn't respond to the crocodile question and lets out a sigh seeing he wasn't paying attention to what he said.

"Idiot, doesn't pay attention to what I said about what will happen in two days...doesn't matter...as long as I just cooperate and not attack, I'll make it through...no one else will which is fine by me...except..."

The crocodile frowns abit letting out a sigh before putting the paper down back into the file and sets it aside.

"Alright, now that we got that fifteen hour and something minutes topic out of the way, lets move onto the next topic"

"Why did I come to the Resistance Base and surrender all of a sudden?"

"Yes"

Infinite remains quiet glaring at Vector while slouching down abit in the steel chair.

"I refuse to answer you"

He could hear a sigh come from the crocodile and watch him tap his finger on the table before he leans back in his own chair.

"Well your not leaving until you tell me why you surrender and didn't destroy our base, you obviously have all that power in that ruby of yours"

"..."

"So what's it going to be?"

"...."

"Well"

"Bring the wolf pup to me"

Vector got caught off guard by this and fell backwards in his chair.

"That red wolf who put the cuffs on me when I surrendered, bring him too me...I will tell him everything on why I surrendered to you Resistance people"
