"aren't you coming?" he turned to look at his girlfriend and that's when her cheeks turned incredibly red.

"i- i can't." she said taking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"w-what? why?" he asked confused, scratching the back of his head.

"well... it's just – she was embarrassed of admitting she was on her period and judging by kihyun's expression she knew he wouldn't let it go so easily.

"i can't because... it's that time of the month... for me."

with that kihyun's eyes widened as his cheeks turned slightly pink. "ah i am sorry – he said bowing – i am sorry. sure. i won't bath too-

"no! no... please – she said shaking her hands – no, you can go – she motioned for him to go inside with the rest – i'll be fine here." finally, a reassuring smile flashed and raced kihyun's heart.

"i really don't mind, i swear." she said with a smile.

it seemed he had second thoughts but finally he agreed after boki insisted once more. she noticed how he dived on the river as he splashed water around. she couldn't help but smile.

as minutes and hours passed, they were still swimming and boki started feeling thirsty. she glanced at the way back, to the suv, where the snacks were and sighed.

she stood from the ground and started walking back to the road to find the suv and get some snacks.

her eyes caught a pair of feet moving happily, popping from one of the windows, that was rolled down.

it was easy to know who it was. "jooheon-ssi?" she called his name.

quickly the feet disappeared and soon were replaced by jooheon's confused face. "yes?"

"ah it's you." she said laughing nervously. "i saw your feet- never mind." she said laughing and sliding the suv's door, leaving it open as she walked inside.

jooheon followed her with her eyes. "why aren't you bathing with the rest?"

"well – she stopped on her tracks as she looked at the cooler – i can't." she said.

"ah... is the red flag on visit?" he asked with a smooth tone.

boki's eyes widened like plates. "what are you talking about!?" she asked, covering her face as she gave him her back, looking for an iced tea on the cooler.

"it's okay ya know... i get it. i've had girlfriends before... it's that time of the month when you can't go to swimming pools or else they'd look like a shark crime scene-

she almost threw up with his description. "can you stop?"

he laughed. "it's okay... don't be ashamed, it's normal."

"is it?" she asked, trying to open the iced tea bottle.

jooheon nodded as he extended his arm towards her, to take the bottle from her hands. "i know a thing or two about women." he said sucessfully opening the bottle and taking a sip first.

"peach." he said returning the bottle for her. boki glanced at the now salivated top and swallowed hard as she hesitated to drink from it.

"and... based on my experience... i can tell you, you're pretty odd for being a woman." he said crossing his arms on his chest.

boki frowned as she reached for a straw for her iced tea. "what do you mean? i was born a woman-

but jooheon laughed histerically, shaking his arms. "no that's not what i am saying... i mean. you're the woman with the most hideous taste in men i've ever met."
