boki couldn't help but roll her eyes. "here he goes again..." she mumbled to herself.

"i mean... first this beluga guy? the one who made you cry in the aquarium? remember? a total asshole... and then this person? – he asked, lifting his hand – he's not even human."

boki sat in one of the seats and stared at him with an unamused expression. "what do you mean he's not a human?"

"ah... i forgot you don't know him completely."

"why are you always trying to talk down on him?"

jooheon stopped for a second as he looked at her. his body was laying in one of the back seats but suddenly his body tensed.

"what's wrong with it? he does it all the time, with me."

boki remained silent, thinking about it, it wasn't completely a lie.

the times she have talked about jooheon, or asked the least thing, all the answers kihyun had given to her, were vague and mostly negative.

"anyway... can you stop bringing up the day i got dumped?"

"why? are you ashamed?" he asked, with a straight face, arms crossed on his chest as he played with a lollypop on his lips.

"no. i just don't think is necessary to be bringing up the past any chance you get."

he laughed with widened eyes. "me? i am not bringing the past like that... i am just pointing out you have terrible taste in men."

boki opened her mouth to say something but quickly shut it. she knew there was no point into trying to reason with jooheon, he'd always find a way to win over her arguments.

"whatever." she mumbled, drinking from the bottle.

jooheon's eyes followed her lips and soon noticed she was using a straw to drink. "yah!" he exclaimed, making boki jump on her seat. "what!?" she asked scared.

"why are you using a straw?" he asked, pointing at the scene as if it was something barbarian.

"i just- she started, glancing down at the straw – i wanted to."

"yah – he said with widened eyes, slightly hurt – we shared a kiss, you've tasted my saliva before, you can't use a straw, give me that!" he said, trying to get the bottle from her, to toss the straw away but boki didn't let him.

"no! stop... and about that, you can't do that ever again." she said, looking into his eyes.

jooheon stop forcing with her and his eyes fixed into hers. boki soon noticed how their faces were inches away. "why... what are you going to do?" he asked with a unknown seductive tone as one of his eyebrows rose.

"i... i'll... kick you." she said stammering. jooheon couldn't help but laugh.

"sure." he said standing and grabbing the straw, and just when he was ready to toss it through the window, boki's arm stopped him. "why did you do that?" her tone was serious but somehow more hurt than anything else.

"what?" he asked, trying to look as if he was lost but both of them knew that jooheon knew exactly what she was talking about.

"you know what." she said looking at him defiantly.

"because it's fun upsetting your dumb boyfriend. i enjoy it." jooheon finally admitted after almost a minute of intense staring passed.

somehow the answer came as a disappointing to boki as she let go of jooheon's arm. he stared at her for a few seconds but then blinked twice as if he had woken up from a trance and tossed the straw through the window. "oops." he said with a malicious tone, laughing afterwards.

boki rolled her eyes as she glanced at the top of the bottle, from where jooheon drank previously.

"are you afraid of my germs sweetheart?" he asked, crossing his arms on his chest. he had a fun look on him as if he was having the time of his life.

"are you having fun?" another voice made them both jump at the time they turned around to find a wet and fiery kihyun staring at them from outside of the van.

jooheon tensed for a second but then laughed as he threw himself on one of the seats. "a lot in fact." he said pulling his phone from his pocket and staring down at the screen.

boki stood from her seat and looked at kihyun with nervous eyes. "i came for a drink. i was going back now." she said making her way out of the van. kihyun stared at the pair but didn't react. in fact, he stayed calmed.

"alright... go ahead. i just came to look for a towel." he answered stepping inside the van.

boki worried for a second as she imagined that kihyun would fight jooheon or viceversa for what she decided to stay instead. "i'll wait for you." she said with smiley eyes.

kihyun stopped on his tracks and tensed after she heard that, glanced at jooheon and quickly grabbed the towel he was looking for. "sure. let's go back." he said walking out of the van and putting one arm around boki's shoulders, bringing her close to him.

"ah you're wetting my hair!" she complained as they both walked deep in the forest.

"did jooheon say something to you?" he asked once they arrived the camp area. they noticed hyungwon was stil on the river with wonho and hawon.

boki frowned as she took a seat in one of the logs disposed around. kihyun stood in front of her, drying his wet hair.

"something like what?" she asked, drinking from her iced tea bottle. kihyun shrugged.

"i don't know... anything related to me perhaps?"

suddenly memories of jooheon previously to that moment, telling her to be alert because kihyun wasn't who she think he was, flashed in her mind.

she glanced worriedly at kihyun, who was staring intensely at her. but truth be told, she was having a good day and she didn't want to ruin anything.

she couldn't worry over a stupid thing like that. jooheon could easily have said that just to piss her off. "of course not. he just joked around."

kihyun opened his mouth to say something, but then quickly shut it as he glanced behind boki. instead, he took a seat next to her and leaned forward to the point their faces were inches away.

he smiled and then pressed his lips against hers. boki felt her heart racing as she couldn't understand why he'd kiss her so suddenly, out of nowhere, as they were in the middle of the conversation, but she returned the kiss either way.

a few seconds passed when someone walked closed to them. boki broke the kiss when she grew nervous as her eyes met jooheon's who was now removing his shirt and jumping into the water.

her cheeks changed temperatures as she slowly turned to look at kihyun, whose eyes were fixed on a white head in the water.

boki couldn't help but wonder if kihyun really wanted to kiss her because his feelings for her were too strong... or just because he knew that jooheon was coming their way and that's why he kissed her.
