I nervously looked at the computer screen while retracing the Lovanna Teagan written on the front of my art file over and over again. Waiting for the comments on my art blog to load, I still felt the butterflies in my belly. Even after all the years, uploading my art work gave me the hebbie jeebies.

I hear the ding of the microwave signalling that my leftover spaghetti had warmed up. Being an art major was my full time occupation but due to heavy snowing all classes had been cancelled and I had to upload my artwork from the dorm. I didn't have a roomate because colleges in Illyria, a small town deep in the folds of the Swiss mountains, don't have the biggest buildings.

I get up from my favourite chair near my small desk at the corner of the room which contains my laptop a small shelf for my books and a drawer with all my art supplies, moving towards the heavenly smell of the leftover spaghetti, our college's care taker, Mrs. Lovejoy had made me.

My dorm room is not very big, it has a small bed and an even smaller bathroom. I brought my own microwave and burner stove just in case it snowed heavily like today and all the routes to my favourite cafe Rosaleigh were blocked.

I opened the curtains and squinted due to the light. How long had I been holed up near my desk in front of the laptop?

Outside, the students were heavily clothed and talking in small groups here and there. In Illyria the months of December and January brought so much snow, that walking from my dorm to my classes proved difficult, it was a wonder people were even out on the streets.

I relish the delicious taste of my spaghetti, mentally high-five-ing myself for not eating all of last night's dinner, because starving was definitely not an option!

The guys outside were engaged in an intense snowball fight while others sit on nearby benches, commentating and throwing jabs. Some girls were giggling, sitting under the sicamore tree that's barely visible now due to snow covering every inch of it . I mentally draw the picture in my head aready captioning the painting "the white wonders of Illyria." I keep looking at the kids when I hear a soft knock on my door.

I opened the door, only to see Mrs. Lovejoy with the bright smile she seemed to carry everywhere.
