With a low mumble, you shifted yourself as you began to awoke. You straighten your back a bit and paused the playlist that had been playing for awhile.

"Hey, you awake?" A familiar voice spoke up, it was your father. Trying to regain full energy, you only replied to him with a hoarse hum as you looked out the window, outside was a nostalgic and familiar road that you remember taking.

"Great timing kiddo, we're close, so get ready" with a nod and full consciousness you unplugged and rolled up your earphones, stuffing it into the pocket of your pants and grabbed your nearest belongings.

"You were out cold, how'd ya even do that? You didn't even last 10 minutes in the car.." your mom chimed in, with embarrassment, you tried looking through your phone as a distraction.

"Well.. i guess car air conditioner just.. hits different.." you replied as you looked through your notifications.

A chuckle had escaped your dad's lips "is that so huh.." he looked back, concentrating on parking the vehicle.

As he finally finishes, he turns the engine off, and the three of you respectfully got out of the car, with you being the most full handed.

Carrying a laptop on your left hand, and a bag full of your school textbooks on your right, as well as a backpack on your, well.. back.. filled with some clothes.

A click had just been heard from the door, and with a twist and turn, your mother swung open the door, revealing the dusty abode that you remember staying in for summer holidays.

"Oh yeah, there's definitely some cleaning up that we need to do.." your mom spoke, most likely to herself.

With everybody starting to get busy with themselves, you remembered the old room you used to stay in and decided that you'd put your stuff there.

Opening the door, you turn on the light switch, as light illuminated the room you were hit with a sense of nostalgia and comfort, you took out your laptop and placed it on the desk, lining up the chargers as well so you'd do your future self a favor and make less work for them.

Finishing up with your desk, you pull out the clothes from your backpack and placed them in their respectable drawers.

As you make yourself comfortable you hadn't noticed your dad coming into your room and placing your suitcase by the door

With a knock on the frame door it was enough for him to grab your attention as you turned your head to the source of the sound "Hey kiddo, just wanted to place it here." He points at the (f/c) suitcase.

"Oh yeah, thanks" you give him a smile

"No problem, now after all this, you can grab some dinner, your mom got takeaway."

"Okay.."

'Wait, dinner?' fishing out your phone, you turned it on to reveal that the digital clock was displaying 19:37 on the screen, you raised your brow at your phone, realizing that the road trip here did take awhile.

And you slept through the whole thing.

Sighing you can only hope you can still get some sleep for school tomorrow.

A familiar ring pierced through your eardrums in the middle of your sleep, a groggy groan escaped your lips as you reached for your phone, your fingertips touching the cold screen sent chills down your spine, you turned off the alarm.

Few more minutes of laying and finally adjusting your eyes to be more awake, you sat up and looked around your surroundings.

Oh yeah, todays the first day of your transferred school life. How.. fun.

Getting on your feet you picked out your clothes that you had set out and grabbed a towel, dragging yourself into the bathroom.

After getting that irritated morning attitude out of your body, and a decent breakfast, you put on your shoes and slung your backpack on your shoulder.

'Seems like mom and dad aren't awake yet.. surprisingly..'

You opened the door and thought to yourself a bit more.

'They'll know that i went to school...

Right..?'

'Yeah.' With a shrug, you closed the door and walked yourself to school.

If you had remembered correctly, the school was just right around the corner of the town, the chill breeze in the morning made you shiver, you shove your hands into your pockets and hurried yourself.

With your intuition being right, you had finally entered school grounds.

'that's... a big door a for a school door..' you wondered to yourself, opening said door you head on in with your heart racing.

The anxiety finally washes over you and your thoughts started to cloud on you, but you tried your best not to get it the best of you.

Mindlessly walking through the school halls, your eyes meet with a certain yellow dinosaur monster.

"O-oh..! Y.. you!!" She squeked out.

A blink and a few head turns from left to right came from you, you pointed at yourself and raised an eyebrow

"..me..?"

"Yes you..!! Y-you're the new kid.! ...right..?"

"Uh yeah..!"

"Oh w-well in that case-!" Scurrying towards you, fixing herself and her books that she had been carrying, she manages to stick her hand towards you.

"I-im Ms. Alphys..!! Y-you're in my c-class!" You accepted her hand and gave it a good shake, oh goodness her palms were sweaty.

"Ahh.. good to know.." as Alphys took her hand back, she fixes her glasses that were crooked from her face

"It's uh... Y/n L/n wasn't it..??"

"Yes ma'm" you gave her a nod

"H-how about uhh, we head to class together..?"

"Yeah, sure.." you gave a her a smile, the two of you heading towards class.
