As the sun starts to shine into your class, you had noticed that school would be over in any minute, wonderful. Just absolutely delightful. You fixed your messy hair that had been acting up a bit and start clicking your pen repetitively once again, good thing the pen wasn't too loud.

As the cold breeze from the class air conditioner hits your face, you struggle to stay awake, the chill feeling gave you a sense of welcome to slumber, your eyelids felt heavier than anything you had ever carried combined.

Before you could give in and give yourself a quick nap for a few minutes, Alphys' voice had rang through your ear, bringing yourself to awoke.

"Alright Class, that's all for today..! You may pack your bags now!"

As cheers rung across the classroom, the sounds of bags rustling soon accompanied them.

Oh finally, you were quite in the verge of passing out. Bringing your head up from the table, you hastily pack your things into your bag and slung it over your shoulder.

Standing back up from the chair you sat hours on, you head yourself out as the other kids do the same. Except that Alphys had called out your name.

"Y/n..!"

Turning your head back towards your teacher, you take halt in your tracks and walk towards her.

"Yes Ms. Alphys?"

"Listen, i wanted to tell you this when we were walking to class this morning but i didn't end up so but..."

"We have a school project, and i was thinking of pairing you up with Noelle and her other partner Berdly, are you okay with that?" Alphys explained to you, with a smile you gave her a nod.

"Yeah! I am okay with that..!"

"Okay, that's all i wanted to inform you.. have a good day Y/n...!!"

Parting your ways with Ms. Alphys, you walked out of the classroom. Whilst walking your way out in the school halls, a familiar horned monster came into your peripheral vision.

As you raised your brow, you walk your way towards them.

"Noelle?"

Noelle turned her head and smiled "Y/n..! It's you!" As she tucks her hair behind her ear, she grips on her school textbooks.

"Just wanted to tell you i'm your newest school project partner~!" You teased, Noelle had let out a small "oh!" And quietly squealed with you.

"Aww!! That's wonderful! At least i won't be the only one stuck with Berdly.." she looks away. Letting out a chuckle for a response you started walking, expecting the Deer to start walking with you too.

"Oh! Y/n, you go ahead to the library first, Berdly is waiting for us there!" She exclaimed turning around to head.. back inside the school..?

"Ah.. okay..!! See you there Noelle!" You raised your voice a bit as she jogged back.

Making your way to the library, you opened the door to make your way in, Berdly sitting on one of the tables, as he finally landed his eyes in you, a smug expression plastered onto his face.

"Well if isn't the new kid! Y/n wasn't it? What are you doing here at the library? Trying to fit in more in the class by studying and climbing up the ranks? Hah!"

Sheesh, way to make a first impression, people like these has got to be one of the worst person to meet the first time.. you just hope this isn't how he usually acts.

"No.. Ms. Alphys assigned me to be your partner, along with Noelle.."

His eyes widens at your response "What? That teacher assigned me..?? With a newbie??!" He scowls a bit.

"Now we're never gonna be getting that perfect A++.."

"Hey chill man, it's not that serious, i promise i'll take part on the project.. i'm not one of slackers.."

The door creaks open once more, you and Berdly turn your heads towards the source of the sound, revealing Noelle with her.. nose redder than usual..?? Has it always been that vibrant..? You had remember it was black.. not maroon..

"Hey guys! Let's get started with the project..!!" She exclaimed quite hastily, in rush she also picked up Berdly's notebook and speed walked her way to the door of what seems to be to the computer room.

"Well about time..! Now, let's continue where we left off now!" Berdly strutted his way towards the door, before he opens the door, he turns to you.

"Now newbie, you better not be doing things without my knowledge, as soon we sit down, I will be giving the orders!!" With confidence, he fixed his glasses in a smug manner, you were already quite tired of this guy's attitude, you fought the urge to roll back your eyes.. how does Noelle tolerate this nerd..?

Opening the door, a loud slam forced both doors to open wide, causing the three of you to fall back, revealing a dark and endless void that seemed a little too ominous for anyone to enter.

"Hey Noelle..? Is the computer room.. always like this...?" You asked, turning your head towards her, the deer had quite the confused expression that matched your own.

"N-not at all..! Whats.. hape- huh..?"

Berdly was the first to stand back up and walked towards the door "hmph! It was merely the light that had not been turned on..! How could you all be so afraid of some dark room? We are highschoolers!" He stated with pride, as he walked inside to turn on the light.

He stopped walking, only to fall

"W-wh!!"

"BERDLY..!!" You and Noelle shouted, the two of you crawled towards him and grabbed a hold of his arms... er, wings...? Before he could fall into the void even deeper

"I-i may have formed some miscalculation...!! This isn't a drill..! Something totally happened to the computer room!!" Berdly shouted his voice echoed throughout the seemingly spacious void, just how big is the room supposed to be??

With you holding his right wing with both of your hands, Noelle was only holding him with one of her hand, her other arm was occupied with a bunch of her and Berdly's textbooks.

Unfortunately, you had always lack in strengths as a teenager, making you having the same struggle as Noelle.

"Agh-!! I'm not strong enough..! Ugh Noelle..! Let go of your books..!" You grunted out your words, taking your advice Noelle slid the textbooks off to the side.

But at the nick of time you could feel your whole weight sliding into the void as well.

"A-ah..!!" But before you could react, your lower half slid off from the library ground, in result Noelle and Berdly ended up getting dragged down with you as the two tailed behind you.

"SHIT..!!"

"Y/N..!!"

with a couple of screams from Berdly -who was trying to use his wings for once by desperately flapping them- and Noelle, the three of you fell into the deep, dark, void.
