It's been 8 years since I last talked to her. We drifted apart in 8th grade, and it was my fault. I got in with the wrong crowd, and i ended up ditching Elsa along the way. I wanted to be her friend but i got so caught up with the jocks and baseball and being popular, i completely forgot about her. And i regretted it everyday.

I heard she was graduating college today. So, I decided to go see her. Ya know, maybe straighten things out between us. Hopefully she'd forgive me and we could go back to the way we were before...maybe even more then that.

I got into my car and started the engine. I turned on the radio and Elsa's favorite song came one. What a coincidence ayee?

I pulled into her driveway with a huge grin because I saw her car. So she was home. I parked the car and turned off the engine. I walked up to her doorway whistling the tune to her favorite song.

I knocked 4 times (like we used to do) and 30 seconds later, she opened the door. She looked beautiful. Sure she was only wearing a snowflake t-shirt and some white sweat pants, and her hair was up in the messiest bun ever, but she still was beautiful in my eyes.

"Hey Elsa." I smirked at her.

I walked right in and sat down on the couch. Making myself at home. She hadn't said anything. She just stared at me. I was about to say something when she finally acknowledged my presence.

"Hiccup." she spit at me. "What do you want?"

I was infuriated by her tone. So I spit out, "I can't even come pay my best friend a visit anymore?!"

"We aren't best friends anymore, hell, we aren't even friends!" she yelled at me throwing her hands in the air in the progress. I can't believe it. The shy nerd I've grown to know and love had just made me speechless.

I wanted to say something..but i couldn't. She just said we weren't even friends. That, had broken my heart.

I know i ditched her, but, i came here to apologize for that. And that's exactly what I'm going to do.

"Elsa, I came here to apologize. I wanted to know if we could start over, forget about the past." I said as i slowly but surely got up and walked towards her.

I couldn't get any closer.

She ran out the door before i could.

I could see the tears in her eyes. Man, I screwed up this time.
