Your mom was a drug addict and drinker, while your dad was very abusive. You had finally had enough of the abuse, so one night, you ran away, hearing voices calling for you at your home. You seemed human, but you were really a full blown monster, ju...
Your POV Me and Pj are headed off to the cafeteria. Everyone flooded in, which was kinda scary. I got separated from Pj, so I was completely lost, as I couldn't see anything and kept getting bumped into, until someone pulled me to the side. Once the stampede cleared, I looked at who had grabbed me to find some fish lady. She pinned me to the wall and said, "Hey, nerd. Your the new kid, right?" I nodded, slightly confused, yet terrified, because this reminded me of what my real parents did to me when I was young. "Hey, gang! We got someone new to beat up! How about we start here and now," she said with a sinister smirk. That's when I realized that there was also a cat monster and some kind of pink creature holding a skateboard.

There were a few others, but those were the main ones I saw. When I heard what the fish lady said, I went wide eyed in fear, afraid to do anything. I sank to the floor and curled up into a ball, eyes closed, shaking uncontrollably, and waiting for impact. I heard frantic shuffling and a familiar voice yelled, "Hey! Back off, Undyne. Leave the poor kid alone." When I heard that, I looked up to see Pj blocking their way. "Are you going soft, Pj? Why are you protecting this nerd?" I heard the fish lady - Undyne - say. Pj replied, "I'll have you know that this 'nerd' is my friend. She will be sitting with us, or I will sit with her at another table, even if it is with the rest of the nerds. So what will it be? Leave her alone and keep your head still attached to your neck, or bully her behind my back or completely ignore me and end up 6 feet deeper than where we escaped." Oooh, burn. I've heard about the Underground. That can be a real insult. They all seemed a little taken aback by what he said. "Fine, we'll leave her alone, but we need to talk," Undyne answered, leading the crowd away.
Pj POV I was walking to the cafeteria with the normal crowd, thinking that (y/n) was right behind me, but when I looked back, she wasn't there. I went back to look for her and found Undyne, Bp, Skategirl, and the rest of the gang surrounding someone. I heard Undyne say, "Hey, nerd. Your the new kid, right?" I went wide eyed. There was a slight pause, then I heard Undyne say, "Hey, gang! We got someone new to beat up! How about we start here and now." I ran up to the gang and pushed through them. I found (y/n) curled up into a defensive ball, absolutely terrified. I blocked their way, protecting her from any harm. "Hey! Back off, Undyne. Leave the poor kid alone," I yelled. (Y/n) looked up at me. Undyne responded with, "Are you going soft, Pj? Why are you protecting this nerd?" She was getting on my last nerve. I was furious! I said, "I'll have you know that this 'nerd' is my friend. She will be sitting with us, or I will sit with her at another table, even if it is with the rest of the nerds. So what will it be? Leave her alone and keep your head still attached to your neck, or bully her behind my back or completely ignore me and end up 6 feet deeper than where we escaped." They were surprised that I said that. She took a step back, then said, "Fine, we'll leave her alone, but we need to talk," Undyne answered, leading the crowd away. I looked behind me to see that beautiful sparkle in her eye. At this point, I don't care. I know that I'm into her, even though we only met earlier today. I can't help the feeling. She got up and gave me a tight hug. I hugged back while I was blushing a little bit. "Th-thank you, P-Pj. Thank you so much. I d-don't want to feel that kind of pain again," she said, her voice cracking a bit. Then I felt a warm liquid run down the back of my letterman. She was crying. I pulled away from the hug and asked, "What do you mean, 'again'?" She stiffened, as if she didn't mean to say that. Then she gave a large sigh. "You don't have to tell me, if you don't want to-" "I-Its alright. You w-were going to f-find out at s-some point," she cut me off. She lifted the sleeve of her plaid coat, revealing many nasty scars. "What happened?!" I yelled, startling her slightly, making her pull her sleeve back down. "N-not so loud! When I-I was little I w-was abused. U-until I was about 10. T-thats when Dream and C-cross adopted me," she explained. How? How could she be so kind and cute and innocent after such abuse? Now, I can't let her out of my sight, not without someone I can trust with her. I won't let her deal with so much pain anymore, no matter what happens. "I'm so sorry. C'mon, let's go eat away from my pals," I said, earning myself a large smile from a teary eyed (y/n). I wiped her tears and a held her hand, leading her to the cafeteria and to an empty lunch table. She sat down her sketchpad and pencils, the only things that she brought with her, and I lead her to the lunch line, a slight blush on my face. We grabbed our lunches, me paying for both, and headed back to our table. We sat down and started eating our lunches (Justput whatever you want for your's and Pj's lunches ok? Ok.). She finished her meal quickly and stood up. She threw away her trash and was heading out when I stopped her. "Where are you going?" I asked. "Somewhere. I just want to be alone right now," she replied. I gave her a nod saying that it was okay, taking her things as I secretly followed her... to the outside basketball court behind the school? There was no basketball, though. I gently pushed a ball over to her, not letting her see my position. She was slightly confused, then I saw that sparkle in her right eye again. She picked it up and started to dribble it in place at first. Then, to my amazement, did some complicated crossovers, then did some amazing shots. Some had many twists and turns, others were from the other side of the court! And she never missed a shot! She could join the basketball team! It was almost time for lunch to be over, so I quickly ran to a nearby bench that she could see, put her stuff on it, than ran back inside. I walked back out casually and called, "(Y/n)! Are you here?" She ran over, quickly grabbing her stuff, slightly confused, and went up to me. She hid the ball, as if she was trying to keep people from seeing her moves. "I'm here, Jammy!" she said, then realized what she said, covering her mouth in an instant. I blushed at the nickname. She blushed madly from saying that, too. "I-it's fine, really. I don't mind you calling me that," I said, making her blush more (if that is even possible!). She nodded and hid her face behind her sketchpad as I grabbed her hand and led her to our next class.
