"i heard what he said... he doesn't want me here so i am leaving-

boki's eyes widened as she quickly turned around. "no!" she exclaimed out of nowhere, making jooheon jump scared on his feet.

she didn't understand why she yelled like that so sudden because it sounded more as if she was begging him to stay.

boki looked around as she swallowed hard. "what?" jooheon asked confused.

"i ... i-i mean... look at all this mess!" she said lifting her hands as if she was mad. "you gotta help me clean all this lee jooheon! you can't leave me alone right now." she said lifting a finger close to his face.

jooheon frowned as he glanced around. it was true he had left a big mess behind.

with a roll of eyes and a deep sigh he finally nodded. "move. i'll do the dishes." he said pushing her softly away from the sink.

"what? no... i can do the dishes- she started but soon earned a glare from jooheon that made her stop.

"you girls are always complaining that dishes damages your nails...i am doing it and shut up, pass me the dirty dishes... geez." he said shaking his head as he opened the faucet.

boki nodded as she obeyed him, taking all the dirty plates to the sink but strangely found herself smiling.

it was cute that he was considerate and it was something that she wondered if kihyun had.

while he was focused on doing the dishes the silence became overwhelming. "i think... that... you're doing the right thing." she found herself admitting.

"uh?" jooheon mumbled as he turned to look at her. he'd wash a dish and pass it to her for boki to dry it with the kitchen rag. "what do you mean?" he asked.

she shrugged. "i mean... you working 3 jobs and maintaining yourself... your rent, food, services and now studies?" she said gathering courage and looking into his eyes.

his eyes were big and sparlky. she wondered if he really looked like that all the time, like a cute puppy. "i think it's honorable... more than a lot of people do." she said nodding.

he scratched the back of his head, wetting it with his hands full of soap and sighed. "i guess... yeah." she said nodding, returning his hands to the dishes.

boki laughed as she lifted her hand to dry the wet area on his hair. "you should be proud like that all the time because your efforts are worthier than others." she didn't know what she said it but it was what her heart told her to.

his eyes met hers for a second and he swallowed hard. feeling his chest racing at the words she spoke. "thanks... really." he said licking his lip and looking down to the dishes.

"i just wanted to know it." she said smiling, finishing the last one.

he turned off the faucet and turned to look at her. the height different making her feel intimidated to some point, especially when he walked towards her and used the same kitchen rag she was using to dry the last plate, to dry his hands.

for an instant, their hands touched and her eyes widened when she felt the sudden electric shock that send her backwards.

his eyes worried as he caught her right before she fell. "are you alright?"

boki laughed nervously. "ha! of course i am fine... i am just full because... you know, ate too much." she said pointing to her belly.

jooheon laughed. "maybe... i should make some tea?" he asked. his eyes somehow looked like a puppy's.
