I mentally scolded myself. I remembered Elsa telling me that she didn't want anyone to know anything about her abuse! Something about pity and sympathy and pandas. I don't know.

I ran after Elsa, Hiccup behind me, a large crowd behind Hiccup. I felt like I was leading a parade.

"Elsa!" I yelled. "Elsa!" Hiccup echoed. "Elsa!" The crowd of people shouted. I-we, I mean-finally caught up to Elsa. "Why's Hiccup adopting you?" Somebody shouted. This started a rampage of questions. It sounded like a riot was taking place. And Hiccup and I couldn't even see Elsa anymore.

I felt a tap on my shoe. I looked down, and saw Elsa army-crawling out of the crowd. "C'mon, let's go," she muttered. I nodded, trying to hold in my laughter. Who knew what a small crowd of people just watching could turn into. "I'm so stupid," I told Elsa. "I just blurted out everything, now everyone's gonna be suspicious." "You're not stupid! Okay, maybe a little, but that's besides the point! I knew everyone was going to find out sooner or later, I just wanted it to be later! Believe me, Jack, you just saved me from a lot of awkwardness," Elsa replied. "Hey, have you guys seen Punzie?" Hiccup asked. Elsa and I shook our heads, and then Merida came running up to us, a very worried look on her face. "Ye won't believe tha' text ah jus' got,"
