A/N: This isn't the last chapter, but grab your tissues. *Starts crying* Also, pretend that the text from Unknown said that if they called the police he would kill Punzie. Okay? Okay.
edit from 2019 - i don't...i don't know why i didn't just edit it.
ELSA'S P.O.V
I read the text over and over. It said:
Punzie:
HELP
COME NOW
DON'T WAIT
I WANT TO LIVE
HELP
I GOT MY PHONE FROM HIM WHEN HE WASN'T LOOKING
HE MUTTERS ABOUT PANDAS
HELP
I was shocked. "Hiccup, wake up!" I said, shaking Hiccup, but he didn't respond. Then I got an idea. "The makers off BBC are ending Doctor Who!" I whisper-yelled. Hiccup jolted awake. "What did you say?" He asked. Instead of answering, I shoved my phone in his face. "Oh. My. Daleks," he said. "We need to go! Now! Punzie is probably being tortured! Or dying!" I urged. Hiccup jumped out of bed, revealing duck pajama pants. "I'll get dressed," he said, "You tell the others." I nodded, picked up my phone, and tip-toed out of Hiccup's room. I quickly started a group text with Jack and Merida.
E: PUNZIE'S FREAKING DYING
J: WTH
M: OH GOSH NO
E: WE NEED TO GO NOW
M: TELL PARENTS
E: YES
J: OK
M; IMMA TELL EM NOW
J: ME 2
I bolted to Mr. and Mrs. Haddock's room. Wait, I thought, I need to tell them a lie.
I texted Merida and Jack again.
E: LIE
J: WHAT SHOULD I SAY
M: PUNZ IS IN HOSPITAL
E: OK
J: OK
I pushed the door to Mr. and Mrs. Haddock's bedroom open. Mrs. Haddock woke up. "What is it?" she asked. "Punzie's in the hospital," I said urgently. "Oh no!" Mrs. Haddock said. "Hiccup's going to drive us there," I said. Mrs. Haddock nodded. "I'll see you later, and tell Punzie good luck!" Mrs. Haddock said. I nodded and left the room.
"Hiccup? Can I come in?" I asked, knocking on Hiccup's bedroom door. "Yup!" He answered. When I walked in, Hiccup was in the most casual clothes I'd ever seen him in. A T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. No bow tie at all.
Just then, I received a text from Jack:
J: It worked
M: Me 2
E: Awesome Hiccup will drive us
M: K
J: K
Hiccup was looking at my texts, and he nodded. I smiled at him, "Let's go," I said.
After picking everyone up, Jack leaned next to me in the car. "Love you," he whispered. "Love you too," I whispered back.
"Where do we go?" Hiccup asked. "14 Valentine, Nomnouth Beach," Merida replied. Hiccup nodded, and pulled into the driveway of a mansion. "Wha'? Here is where Punz's bein' tortured?" Merida asked. "Yep," Jack said, pointing to the side of the mansion. Well, it was a dark, dingy street corner with a huge cage in it. "Punzie!" Everybody except for me screamed. I was busy looking at another figure, a figure with a whip. "Father?" I whispered.
We got out of the car, and then four figures emerged from the shadows. They all had on black hats, trench coats, sunglasses, and ski masks. They grabbed each one of us, and plucked us up as if we were made of feathers. This angered me. I felt my hair changing, and I felt the urge to rip off my glove. And you know what? I did. I ripped off my glove, and a huge sword grew in my hand. I screamed in rage. All the anger, pain, misery, and rage I'd ever felt crashed into my body. The man holding me dropped me out of fear, and the others did the same with my friends. Jack grabbed his staff, and I created weapons for Merida and Hiccup. And then it all went down.
The masked men pulled out their guns, and my father laughed like a maniac. "You've come early, I see!" He screeched, turning around. He had a twisted grin on his face, and a crazed look in his eyes. Yet he looked alert, like he knew what would happen 30 seconds before it did.
"Help!" Punzie whimpered, clinging to the bats of the cage. "Okay," Jack muttered, and ice shot from his staff, going at my father. But he sidestepped, and laughed humorlessly. "So predictable!" He shouted. "Ugh," Hiccup moaned, throwing a knife at him, but father caught it. "I see you haven't had any experience with violence," he said. Merida muttered some unflattering words before firing an arrow at him. But my father dodged it, earning more unpleasant words from Merida. I put my sword down and shot ice at my father's heart, but he sidestepped it. And then everything went crazy.
Bullets fired everywhere. My father cracked his whip. Punzie pleaded for help. Jack, Merida, Hiccup, and I fought. The fighting was a blur. Shoot ice here, shoot ice there. Dodge bullet here, dodge bullet there. But then one thing caught my attention. Jack wasn't looking, but there was a gun aimed at his heart. I felt my hair change. Platinum blonde. Before I knew what I was doing, I ran and jumped in front of Jack, screaming, "NO!" and then the bullet hit my chest.
