Daddy's Little Lucy

"Who or what do you think created all these?" Sting asked as we ran. "I think a huge rock monster!" I said, hoping for a fight. "Are you an idiot? If it was a rock monster don't you think we would see it by now?" Gray said. "He's an invisible rock monster?" I suggested and they gave me 'you're an idiot' look.

I used my 'Fire Dragon Iron Fist' to destroy one of the nearby stones. "Lets see who can destroy the most rocks! Whoever losers have to buy everyone else dinner tonight" I suggested excitedly. "Don't let Natsu win, you know how expensive his appetite is!" Gray warned. "Gray your clothes" I said distracting him. "Ahhhh!" he exclaimed, looking around for his discarded clothes. I destroyed another stone and cheered "another one for me!", "we can't let Natsu win, lets go Rogue!" Sting said.

We destroyed stone after stone, occasionally we hit a few enchanted ones but left those for Shadow Gear and the Thunder Legion to handle. Once all the stones were irradiated, "yeah! Fifty-three stones!" I cheered, "aye!" Happy said, appearing beside me. "Oh hi Happy, where have you been?" I asked, "I was on a job with Wendy and my beloved Carla" he replied with hearts in his eyes.

"So how many stones did you destroy Natsu?" Gray asked as he walked over to us followed by Sting and Rogue. "Fifty-three, what about you?" I replied proudly. "Damn, I got fifty-two" Gray said, disappointed. "Aw-yeah!" I cheered, "what about you two?" I asked Sting and Rogue. "Fifty" Rogue answered and Sting stayed silent, looking down. Rogue gave him a nudge, "forty-eight" Sting answered with a pout. "Aw-yeah! I won and Sting's paying!" I cheered, "aye!" Happy said. Sting fell on his knees "my precious jewels!" he shouted towards the sky. "There, there" Rogue said patting his back.

I heard everyone from Fairy Tail cheer from different parts of Magnolia. I guessed everyone finished destroying the stones. Before we could relax, the ground started to shake and all of the enchanted rubble began to float. It flew towards the Kardia Cathedral, everyone in Fairy Tail gathered in front of the Cathedral after following the rubble. The rubble began to merge itself together till there was a rock monster the size of the Cathedral.

"Told you so!" I said, "not the time Natsu" Gray said ready to attack the monster. The monster let out a huge roar and began sucking the normal rubble into his mouth like a vacuum. It was like how I eat fire while the rock monster eats stones. "So cool!" I said, "again not the time!" Gray shouted. Macao shouted "charge!" and we all used our magic to attack the monster

"Bisca, Alzack, aim for the eyes!" Cana shouted. "You got it" Bisca replied aiming her gun at the monster's eyes. The shot hit the monster dead in the eye and it roared in pain. 'Note to self: rock monsters feel pain' I thought as I used my 'Fire Dragon Roar' on the monster. Laxus was the one to give the final blow as a massive lightning bolt struck the monster from above. The monster fell and crumbled back into a pile of rubble. We kept our guard up in case it decided it wasn't done yet which luckily for us it decided to stay down. Most of Fairy Tail were exhausted from using their magic on the stones and fighting the huge rock monster.

We all cheered at our victory and I couldn't wait to tell Lucy about it. I was sure she would love to hear how we defeated the rock monster. After all the hugs and high-fives, everyone worked together to remove the rubble from Magnolia which was a lot of work. Reedus used his Pict Magic to create Boar Carriages to move the rubble to outside Magnolia. Everyone was motivated since there was talk of a party once the work was done. I was excited and I knew I had to remember to give Lucy juice instead of beer since she's a child now. The guild doesn't allow underage drinking. In a way that's good for me, no drunk Lucy but sadly there may be a drunk Erza. Girls are scary when drunk, it sends shivers down my spine.

I was with Gray, Sting and Rogue discussing counter measures against the drunk girls when Erza walked up to where we were. Gray and I were wondering if she heard us, we didn't want to be beaten up today. "Since the rubble is almost gone, you four should return to the guild. I'm sure Lucy will be wondering where you are" she said. We were relieved she wasn't mad at us. "Alright see you back at the guild Erza" I said before we walked back to the guild ahead of everyone else.

We strolled down the street since the guild was close by talking about the battle we had. As soon as we were in front of the guild, Lucy ran out of the door crying. I could tell something had upset her as she cried "Daddy!" running directly to me, hugging my legs for dear life. I picked her up and she instantly wrapped her arms around my neck tightly. I felt her tears as she sobbed into my neck, soaking my scarf. "What's wrong Lucy?" I asked as I stroked her back gently but she just kept crying and I noticed a terrible bruise on her leg. I quickly ran inside to see if Mira was alright with the others following behind me.

The guild hall was a mess, almost like the aftermath of one of our guild brawls with some rocks thrown in. I saw Mira on the floor, leaning against the bar. We rushed to her noticing a few minor cuts and bruises on her. "Mira, are you alright?!" Gray exclaimed as we knelt around her. "Yes, just a bit tired is all" she said with a smile. We were relieved that she wasn't seriously hurt. "What happened?" I asked, "Kazuma and Ryuki attacked us" she replied. "Those people who are after Lucy?" Sting asked and I nodded. I was surprised that they could leave a scratch on Mira, she's one of Fairy Tail's strongest wizards. I was also mad that they hurt one of my friends and more importantly Lucy.

Even in my arms, Lucy wouldn't stop crying. I wondered what happened to her while we were away and how she got that bruise. "There's something else... they... are..." Mira said drifting before going unconscious. "Mira wake up" Gray and I said in unison as Gray shook her slightly. "What was she going to say?" I said out loud, "we'll have to find out when she wakes up" Sting said. Gray picked her up and took her to the infirmary while I tried to calm Lucy down. I cooed gentle words into her ear like 'don't worry Daddy's here'. She needed me here more than I wanted to hunt those twins down. 'What was Mira trying to tell us?' I wondered.
