Daddy's Little Lucy

           

The guild doors burst open, "Big Brother Sting! Big Brother Rogue!" Lucy cheered as she jumped off her seat and ran to them. I pouted as Sting picked Lucy up in a hug. I walked over to them, "how's Sabertooth?" I asked as I took Lucy off of Sting, she's mine. "Minerva has been taking care of my duties while I've been away and the guild knows why Rogue and I are staying here" Sting explained. "How did they take it?" I asked, "lets just say they were supportive" he replied nervously. "He told them we were taking care of his little sister in Fairy Tail and some members smacked him in the head for ditching his duties as Guild Master" Rogue said. "Don't tell him that!" Sting exclaimed and Rogue shrugged.

Lucy giggled, "do you want to finish your colouring Lucy?" I asked and she nodded enthusiastically. I lowered her to the floor and she ran back to our table. "Did anything happen while we were gone?" Rogue asked as we walked towards our table. "Nothing really. I heard that Kazuma and Ryuki didn't attack while we were gone" I replied. "I wonder what they are planning" Sting said as we sat down at the table. I sat beside Lucy while Sting and Rogue sat across from us.

"I don't know but I hope we catch them soon and get them to turn her back to normal" I said, signalling my eyes to Lucy. "Why? I like having her like this because I get a little sister" Sting said, I stood up abruptly and aggressively grabbed his collar. "I'm just joking!" he exclaimed, I roughly let go of his collar and sat back down. "Daddy what's wrong?" Lucy asked curiously as she looked up from her colouring. I gave her a kind smile, "nothing's wrong Lucy" I replied and she went back to her colouring.

"What are you colouring Lucy?" Sting asked as he tried to look over the table. Lucy quickly grabbed her paper and hugged it so we couldn't see. "You can't look until it's done" she said with a glare. "Fine" Sting replied with his hands up in surrender and Lucy went back to her secretive colouring. I chuckled thinking about how little Lucy is hiding her colouring like older Lucy would hide her novel.

Sting, Rogue and I were relaxing and talking while we waited for Lucy to finished colouring. Sting and I would try to sneak glances because we were curious but Lucy would catch us and hide her picture with her arms. When she was finished, she cheered "done!" and we tried to have a look but she hid it in her arms again. "You said we could see it when it's done" I said, "Big Brother needs to be here first" she said. "Popsicle get your butt over here!" I shouted and Gray stomped over here. "What do you want Fire Breath?!" he shouted at me, "Lucy wouldn't show us her picture until you were here" I replied. He sighed and sat down on the other side of Lucy.

Lucy was smiling brightly, excited to show us her picture. "Everyone's here so can you show us your picture now?" Sting asked and Lucy nodded happily. She turned her picture around to show us. It was a picture with stick figures and other drawings around. There was a small yellow haired girl holding a spiky pink haired man's hand on the right and holding a spiky black haired man's hand on the left. Holding the pink hair man's other hand was a spiky yellow haired man. On the other side, holding the spiky black haired man's other hand was another black haired man with a side fringe covering one eye.

"I tried to draw this for everyone before but it got wrecked" she said. "Before?" we asked in unison and then Mira came up to our table. "She was drawing a picture of herself with Natsu when Kazuma and Ryuki attacked. It's seems she decided to add you three into the picture too" Mira explained. "Yeah! Daddy, Big Brother, Big Brother Sting and Big Brother Rogue are my family!" Lucy said. We smiled at her, she was being adorable. There is one problem with the picture...she was holding Ice Princess' hand!

"What's this?" Gray asked as he pointed to a blue blob in the corner. "It's Kitty!" Lucy said, "what about that man in the background with yellow hair?" I asked. "That's Big Brother Laxus!" she said happily. It took me a minute to registered what she said, "big brother?!" I exclaimed. "She's been calling him that since you four left the guild for a job" Mira said. She only calls people 'Big Brother' if she becomes close to them.

"Laxus!" I shouted, "stop being so loud Natsu. What is it that you want?" Laxus said from his table. "How dare you get that close to her! I've already had enough to deal with, with these three!" I shouted. "It's not my fault that she wanted to call me that" he retorted. I jump at him to attack only to get zapped by his lightning. I twitched on the ground unable to get up. "I called it didn't I? I'll take my bet winnings" Wakaba said and Cana gave him his money.

"Daddy! Are you ok?" Lucy asked as she ran to me and kneeled next to me. "Why did you have to hurt Daddy, Big Brother Laxus?!" Lucy shouted with tears in her eyes. "Sorry Lucy" Laxus said, "and say sorry to Daddy!" Lucy shouted. There was a short silence, "sorry Natsu" he finally said and looked away. Afterwards Gray helped me to the infirmary and Lucy sat in the chair beside my bed as Wendy was using her magic to heal my wounds.

By the time it was time to go, I was feeling like I was never hit by Laxus' lightning. Lucy held my hand as we walked to her apartment with Gray, Sting, Rogue and Happy. When we got in, Lucy changed into her pyjamas and I tucked her into bed with her plush dragon. I was sitting next to her on the bed when Sting suddenly looked at the bed weirdly. He went on his hands and knees in front of me, reaching for something under the bed. He pulled out the pink teddy bear that I kicked under there.

"Why is this under there?" Sting asked me with a glare. "Must have accidently fell under there" I lied and shrugged. "Lair!" Sting shouted as he tackled me to the ground and we wrestled each other. Rogue had to pull Sting away while Gray pulled me away. "Remember Lucy gets upset when people fight" Gray said, "he started it!" I defended myself. Sting sighed in annoyance and brushed some of the dust off the pink teddy bear before handing it to Lucy. She cuddled both but my dragon plush was the closest which I was happiest about.

As she fell asleep, I gave her a kiss on the forehead. "When did this happen?" Sting asked, "none of your business" I said and laid down beside Lucy. Sting got into the bed on the other side of Lucy and fell asleep but I kicked him off. He stayed on the floor asleep and Rogue gave him a spare pillow and blanket. I fell asleep cuddling Lucy close to my chest with her plush toys.
