Why You?//Tim Sharp x Reader

You decided to text Cassie to see if you could hangout. You had both been texting since you met and had gotten closer.
(I know the texts are usually in the middle but it's not working so yeah)
Y/n: What's up girlie?
Cassie: Nothing wbu.
Y/n: me too, want to hangout?
Cassie: definitely! want to go to the carnival?
Y/n: that's perfect.
Cassie: Ok I'll meet you there see ya soon 😊
Y/n: see ya cool kid 😎
You changed into a pair of jean shorts and a black tank top. You walked over to the fair and waited at the entrance for Cassie. When you saw her you ran to each other in a hug.
"I missed you!" Cassie said.
"This is literally our first time hanging out." You say giggling.
"Yeah still." Cassie said.
Cassie bought a wristband for the week like you did yesterday.
"Uh oh." Cassie said.
"What?" You ask.
"This place is scattered with Milwood kids." Cassie said.
"I'm sure their not that bad." You said.
"You're in for a treat if you meet them." Cassie said.
"What do you want to do first?" You ask.
"Woah, what is that?" Cassie asks.
"Oh it's like a giant slide and you go down on a sack thing." You say.
"We have to do that." Cassie said.
The worker handed you both a sack and you proceeded to walk up a bunch of stairs.
"By the time I get up there, the fair will be over." Cassie said making you both laugh
When you got to the top, Cassie took the purple slide and you took the pink slide next to her.
"1..2..3!" Cassie counted down. On three you both slid down. When you reached the bottom you were both dying of laughter.
"Oh, that was worth climbing those stairs." You say.
You decided to get snow cones and sit down for a bit. Suddenly a girl comes running up to Cassie while you are sitting down.
"Cassie you need to help me." The girl says.
"Right now? I'm kinda busy." Cassie says.
"Ok well um I'm helping my boss set up some new stuff in the shop and at one point she left because she trusted me. Luca being the pain that he is took one of the crystals that is important and I've been chasing him all day to get it. Please help me." The girl said.
Cassie looks at you.
"I'm down." You say.
"Well then I guess I am too." Cassie says.
"By the way I'm Kate." The girl says.
"Y/n." You say back to her.
"Why is Luca still being a pain to you after you found out you were soulmates?" Cassie Asks.
"Because he thinks it's funny." Kate said.
"Sorry you have to do this." Cassie said.
"No, it fine. It's just another adventure to be explored." You say.
"Ok, where did you see him last." Cassie asked.
"He didn't leave the area of the store. There is either 5 store he could be in, or he could be behind them. He wouldn't leave the area though." Kate said.
"How did you know I was at the fair?" Cassie asked.
"Finding spell, but that isn't important right now." Kate said.
You all walk over to the area.
"Search every store?" You suggested.
"Yeah let's start on the left end." Kate said.
You went through all the stores and didn't find him. The pet store owner on the end though, helped somewhat.
"You mean that weird kid? Yeah he's been out back." The man said.
"If he's in the back we should split up. Since it's fenced off we can corner him." Kate said.
"I'll take left, Cassie go right, Kate go through the back of the store and you'll be in the middle." You say plotting out the plan of attack.
"Here take these nerf guns and shoot them on my command. This is gonna be so fun!" Late said jumping. She handed you and Cassie need guns.
"Why do you randomly have nerf guns with you." You ask.
"If you work with Luca, you always have to be prepared." Kate said.
"Ok. Let's go team. Move out!" Cassie said playfully.
You turned the corner to see Cassie doing the same. The boy you assumed was Luca was walking around the back kicking rocks. Then Kate walked out the back of the store.
"Hi princess." The boy said smiling.
"Ok, Luca seriously give it back or else." Kate said.
"Or else what?" He said smirking.
"I'll send in my back up." Kate said.
"I'm so scared." Luca said sarcastically.
"Alright backup fire!" Kate said.
You and Cassie ran out from behind the corner and started firing.
"Oh my go-What the heck?" Luca said making you all laugh.
Kate grabbed the crystal and ran. Luca chases after her.
"So uh, what do we do?" You ask Cassie.
"Help her I guess?" Cassie said.
You both run after them and see them in the store both lying on the floor.
"We won!" Kate said.
"Alas, I've been defeated." Luca says playfully.
"Now you owe us all ice cream for being a pain." Kate said.
"What an adventure. Plus we got ice cream out of it!" Cassie said.
You all got ice cream and you walked with Cassie to the Attaway-Milwood border.
"Well, today was fun. We should hangout more." You said.
"Totally. Maybe next time a new adventure won't pop up." Cassie said.
You hugged each other and then walked home.
You flopped on your bed and smiled.
I love summer.
