Why You?//Tim Sharp x Reader

You showed up to Birdie and TKs house to swim for the day. Everyone was there, except for Tim.
"Hey guys." You say walking into the backyard.
Everyone said hi and you joined them in the pool.
"Where's Tim?" You asked TK.
"He's um busy." TK said hesitantly.
"Doing what?" You ask.
"Um working." TK said.
"He has a job?" You ask.
"I guess so." TK says walking away.
What the heck is going on? That was weird and Tim doesn't have a job.
You go around asking a few people the same and they all say different excuses.
"He is at his grandmas."
"He has to go to summer school."
"He has to take care of his turtle."
"Busy with school work."
"Everyone in the living room now." You say.
Everyone gathers and sits down.
"Ok something is going on. Tim does not have a job. Or a turtle. He isn't going to summer school, and why would he be doing school work in the summer?" You say.
"We probably should've agreed on a excuse." Ace whispered.
"Excuse for what?" You say.
Everybody stays quiet.
"Fine." You say sighing and storming out back to your house. You rush up to your room and lay on your bed.
What is he hiding from me? And why are my friends hiding whatever it is from me too?
You text Tim a few times and he leaves you on read.
Is he cheating on me? Does he hate me? Ok, I won't jump to conclusions. But what if?
You eat dinner with your mom and head up to your room. Somebody knocks at your door but you ignore it.
"Y/n, someone is here to see you." Your mom says downstairs.
You head to the door and see Tim standing there. You walk up to him and cross your arms.
"Where have you been all day?" You say.
"I don't have to be with you 24/7 gosh." Tim said playfully.
That made you angry though. You scoffed and were about to close the door but he pushed it back open.
"Wait! Ok that made me sound like a jerk. Let me show you what I've been doing all day." Tim said.
You took his hand and he led you to the park nearby. He walked you over to the bench you had been to a few times and seen Tim there multiple times before. When the bench was in view you could see a picnic basket, fairy lights, flower petals and a great view of the sunset.
"Oh my gosh." You say smiling.
"Shall we?" He says sticking is hand out. You take it and you both sit down on the bench.
He pulls (your favorite drink) out of the basket and a water for him. For food he got (your favorite snack) since he knows you love it.
"I'm sorry I assumed you were up to no good. This is amazing." You say.
"Don't worry I would've been the same way." Tim said.
Tim pulls out a small white box and hands it to you. You open it and inside is a skinny gold bracelet with a mini heart on it.
"This is so pretty!" You say hugging him.
He helps you put the bracelet on and you smile at it.
"I don't deserve you." You say.
"Trust me, I think you do." Tim says pointing at the tattoo of a rose on his wrist.
Oh, the places we'll go and things we'll do together.
