Mia's POV
When you know someone and you start to fall for them nothing they do is boring; everything they do lights up your world and they are all you can think about. It's been a week since Hetty started at Hotten High and we've became really close and I appreciate her more than anything.
"Mia are you listening? I've been talking to you for the last ten minutes!" I finally heard mums voice which caused me to look up to her.
"I'm sorry mum, I was thinking" I responded.
"What were you thinking about?" Mum asked me as she sat beside me on the sofa.
"I have met someone who makes me happier than I ever thought was possible but the thing is we've not known each other long and I think I've already fallen for this person and I don't know what to do about it" I explained not telling mum who it was that I liked.
"Well if you like someone you need to tell them that you like them, it's best to tell them rather than not and you'd get to find out if they like you two so you know if they like you back" Mum advised me.
"But how do I tell them? I don't want anything to ruin the friendship I have with this person" I asked with a confused look on my face
"If they are a real friend they will understand that you had to get it off your chest." Mum reassured me however she didn't help with how to tell Hetty, yes she didn't know it was Hetty but that's not the point.
"Your right mum but how to I tell them? Like what do I say?" I asked biting my lip.
"Just come straight out and say it" mum paused as she looked like she was thinking.
"I've never actually seen you like this before." Mum looked at me, I knew what she was thinking, I had never been this way, I had told Gabby to come straight out and tell Jacob she likes him but here I am unable to find the words or even think about how to tell Hetty that I like her.
"I've never felt like this before" I responded honestly.
"So are you going to tell me who this special person who's got you all shy about your feeling?" Mum asked me with a smile on her face, I could feel my cheeks heating up as I blushed but I didn't know why I was blushing.
"It's, it's" i paused taking a deep breath
"It's Hetty" I practically whispered with a smile on my face.
"You need to tell her but in your own time; it'll be best her knowing than not" Mum smiled putting her arm around me.
"She honestly so amazing, her jokes which should be lame but are actually really good, the way she knows how to make me laugh even without saying anything at all, she's gorgeous and a whenever I think of her I smile" I admitted to mum as I rested my head onto her shoulder.
"As long as your happy babygirl then I'm happy" Mum smiled kissing my forehead, I was glad that's how she felt, extremely glad.
