The Spy

Alex's POV

       Today is the day. The anniversary day for my parents. Benny, Kenna, and I went back home to Kent for the anniversary. When we got back to uncle Matt's he hugged me. Heck everyone hugged me. 

     Right now I was sitting by my dead parents grave. They aren't actually inside since they burned in the car. Nothing was left of them. After people took me away from the car it blew up in even more flames that were there before. 

    I brought mom's favorite flowers and dad's favorite drink. Mom's favorite flowers were 11 white lilies, and 1 pink rose. Dad's favorite drink was a cold diet coke. I laid them both down and cried. 

  "I'm sorry mommy and daddy. I am sorry that I couldn't get you out of the car fast enough. It should have been me that died. Not you. You were an amazing people. You didn't deserve this. Mommy I am sorry. I said I never lied to you but I did. I lied when Hannah said I hit her with a stick and I said I didn't. Like a good parent you took my side and ruined your friendship with her mother. I hit her mom. She took my toy and I got mad. I am so so so so sorry. Daddy I'm sorry I was always so difficult when we played sports. I am sorry that I never cooperated as much as I should. I wish I could take back the day of the accident. I would have convinced you not to take me to get ice cream. I would take back that you died and made it so I did. You could still be walking the Earth and making a difference in the world like you guys were planning for years. It killed me to see you die in front of my own eyes. I miss you guys so much." I said then broke down. I came here alone so no one could hear me.

     "I miss you." I said one last time before I sat back in my wheelchair and left. 

    It has been a few months since I have been in a wheelchair. Benny, Kenna, and I stayed home since my parents death anniversary. I did simple missions like stop a drug deal. It was hard at first since of my parents death anniversary. Uncle Matt let me off the hook for a while. Since I wasn't at school for a while I lost track of Jacob. I don't know anything he has done. 

     Today is gonna be a good day. Today is the day we go back to Bentley. That mean's I can start watching Jacob again. I ran downstairs even though it hurt my foot to run. At the moment I had to wear wraps on both my ankles and my arm.

    "Guys lets go!" I yelled excitedly. Benny laughed. 

    "Lex calm down." Kenna said.  

    "I can't. Now lets gooooo." I said pulling all of the suitcases outside. We said goodbye to uncle Matt yesterday so we can leave right away. Uncle Matt promised to give me Havens location right when we get back. 

    After I forced Kenna and Benny to hurry up, we started our long drive back. 

    "I'm gonna go spy on Haven when we get back. You guys are getting other missions." They nodded. 

    "Why do you get the most interesting mission." Benny said. 

    "Because i'm more trained than you and this mission is hard." He rolled his eyes.

     "It's probably because you think Haven is hot." I chocked on my spit when I heard that. Then I started laughing. Me thinking pissy pants is hot. Funny.

     "No. He is not hot." Kenna rolled her eyes. 

    "Yes he is. He is in one of my classes and he is drool worthy." I rolled my eyes. 

    "So Kendra seems nice." I said. Benny blushed. I looked back at Kenna to see if she caught it. She looked at me with the same expression. Then we both smirked.
