The rest of the day, we were both giddy over the news. I was at work and could barely focus, thanks to Darren coming in the next few hours. Finally meeting my true brother. When my shift finally ended, I bounced up and headed to the airport. I made it at noon, on-the-dot.

After wandering around the airport, I finally found Darren's gate. He emerged from the door and his eyes scanned the crowd. For a brief moment, I forgot that he had no idea what I looked like. Luckily, I had a good idea of what he looked like. I called him. "I'm right by the ticket counter at your gate," I said, "I'll wave."

I did just that and he found me. He hugged me tightly and I returned it. "It's great to finally meet you in person! All the memories I have of you are really fuzzy," he said.

"I don't really have any memories of my youth, but come on!" I exclaimed, taking one of his bags. After loading it all up into the car, I drove home. "How was your flight?"

"Pretty relaxing. I was very anxious. I mean, most of my life, you've been a story and a face in an album," he said.

"What did you know about me?" I asked, pulling out of the airport.

"Well, Mom told me that when you were young, she turned around for five minutes at the park and you escaped from her grip. She never saw you again. You were about two years old," he said.

"Well, from my side of the spectrum, I was adopted at five years old. The orphanage had kept me for two years. I wasn't ever really given to them with a history, only a note clipped to a blanket with my name. Somehow, I made it across the world. Someone found me on the streets, cold and blue. Like, actual blue from cold. When they did the thorough examination, they found a lot of bruises. Fresh, too. So, for a while I had really bad night terrors. Terrible. They only really disappeared about three years ago," I said.

"Well, we have a lot of time to catch up on. You've been out of the picture for twenty years. What are you doing? Are you still studying something? What did you study if you graduated?"

"Woah, woah, woah, wait. Slow down. Can we talk about our lives from up until age ten?" I asked.

"Sure. So, I went to school and did a lot of school plays. I discovered that I really liked acting and yeah. I did a lot of supporting roles when I was young."

"Well, the acting thing was similar, but with writing. I always wanted to be the best, so I studied hard until my teacher was always asking if she could use my work as an example. Until twenty?"

"Okay, so, I did normal teenage things, finding places to eat at two in the morning because of late rehearsal. I dated a few people, broke a few hearts, got mine broken a few times. But when I was eighteen, I was accepted into the University of Michigan where I studied acting. I found my group of friends which you definitely know about. You told me that you listen to Starkid. I also talked to Brian and he said he was auditioning a Robert Manion. Any relationship to him?"

"Well, first, kind of. He's my cousin by adoption and also my best friend. So, my life was basically being a hermit fangirl writing fanfictions. I guess you could say I was fanfic-famous. I got over 7 thousand reads on one. So, yeah. After that, I went to Northwestern to study journalism. Up until now."

"Well, then. So, we founded Starkid and then Glee found me online and they casted me. About two years ago, I married Julia Albain. This year, she gave birth to our daughter, Sophia."

"Well, I graduated with a degree in journalism and moved in with Robert to our current residence. And now I work for the local newspaper," I said.

"You have had quite the life. But have you ever had a love life?"

"No. Never been on a date, never been kissed, but I have married fictional crushes. They just don't know it yet," I said, pulling up to our house. I parked and tried to help Darren with his bags.

"No, I can do this. I'm your older brother. It's my job," Darren said. I gave him a grin and let him take it. After showing him to his room, I checked my texts.

On my way... is he here?

Yep! Try not to fanboy

I'll do my best!

Cool beans! I'm making lunch

I pocketed my phone and started to prepare lunch. "Hey Darren?" I called.

"Yeah?" He called back.

"Do you have any allergies or dietary restrictions?" I asked.

"No!" He exclaimed, coming into the kitchen. I nodded and looked into the fridge. After a few minutes, I made some ham and cheese sandwiches. I served one to Darren and then checked my phone for Robert's location. He was about a block away. Deciding not to wait, I started to edit some articles for the paper tomorrow while eating. I was proofreading some of the writing pieces and reviews. I sent off my changes when Robert entered.

"You took your sweet time!" I exclaimed, hugging him.

"Directing ran late. I said I was on my way when I was about to leave. But then Allison wanted to run her solo again so I stayed late," he said, handing me some tickets.

"I'm excited to see this," I said.

"Well, just wait about a month. Two weeks after that, and I'm overseas," he said, taking his meal.

"Oh I'm an idiot!" I realized. "Darren, this is Robert my cousin and bestie. Robert, this is Darren, my brother."

"Hello," Darren said.

"Hey!" Robert exclaimed. They shook hands. We spent the rest of the afternoon talking in pure bliss, being a family.

Disclaimer: I only own Luna and the plot line.

Happy Valentine's Day! I honestly don't like it, except for the candy and the WAYWARD GUIDE TRAILER. I watched it in ceramics and it's so great. I'm super excited. THINGS HAPPEN! Anyways, I'm super excited and not over the trailer. I also have a Spanish presentation on Las Meninas by Diego Velázquez. Hopefully it's not that bad. Also, if you're a Wayward Guide backer and you've seen the trailer, please hmu I need to talk. I'm sorry for not updating, but I'll try to find a regular schedule since golf starts soon. Have an awesome week!!!
