A/N: Sorry for late chapter, I was very busy yesterday and forgot. Won't happen again, I promise!
When Ralph heard the click of the townhouse's front door, he decided he would walk down. He looked to see Simon and Roger already sitting up, waiting for him.
"So it didn't go too well, huh?" Simon asked, empathetically.
"I guess you could say that," Ralph sighed, "What'd he say?"
"He just kind of walked out," Simon said as more of a question.
"We asked him how it went and he only shook his head and left. He looked like he was crying, but he also seemed pissed," Roger spoke.
"Yeah, he slammed the door when he left."
"God, I'm sorry you guys have to deal with this shit," Ralph ran another hand through his hair.
"It's okay," Simon smiled, "Here, sit down. You can tell us what happened if you want."
"Thanks, Si," Ralph said, sitting down with a smile.
He then frowned, and continued, "He's mad because I told him that we're on a break. He's hiding whatever guilt or sadness he has with a mask of anger. He always does this."
"Typical?" Roger asked.
"Typical."
"Can you really blame him, though?" Simon questioned softly, "He just lost the love of his life for a month, if not longer."
"That ginger asshat deserved it," Roger mumbled.
"Yeah, but he still loves Ralph. The feelings don't just go away because you're on a break or something."
Ralph rubbed his arm. It was true, the feelings didn't go away.
"So that's all that happened, then?" Roger asked, changing the subject.
"Yeah, suppose so," Ralph sighed.
"K."
They sat in an awkward silence for a moment, then Ralph realized something.
"Oh my god, guys!" He yelled, making Simon and Roger jump.
"Yeah?" Simon worriedly responded.
"Where am I going to go? If Jack and I are on break, what am I going to do? I live in that apartment!"
"You... could stay with us for the month?"
"I—" Ralph paused, then continued, "Well, I guess that would work. Thanks."
Simon nodded, smiling. After all, they lived fairly close to Ralph's school campus. Plus, Ralph already had a bunch of clothes here; he basically had his own room that was supposed to be the guest room. Roger found it strange, but Ralph and Simon were like brothers, so he guessed it wasn't too weird.
"Well, then, I'm going to turn in for the night. Thanks again, guys."
"No problem," Roger said, nonchalantly.
Simon silently waited for Ralph to get to his room. Then, he turned to Roger.
"Jack is gonna go mad."

Two weeks later, Jack was walking on campus with Roger and Maurice. His eyes had dark bags under them and were always a little red. Maurice couldn't tell if Jack was always crying or if Jack was always high.
"So, did you guys finish the paper we had for Modern Physics?" Maurice asked, peppy as usual. Contrary to popular belief, Jack actually found his company quite nice and fun.
"Yep," Jack popped the p as Roger nodded.
Not high, Maurice deduced.
"Cool. I still need to finish it, haha!" Maurice spoke, embarrassed at his procrastination habits.
"Classic Maurice," Roger smirked, rolling his eyes.
"Hey!" Maurice snickered.
"Eh, you'll figure it out," Jack interrupted the two, using hand gestures, "You always did back in high school."
"Dude, wait," Maurice grabbed Jack's hand, "The hell happened to your knuckles?"
"Wh—nothing," Jack replied quickly and snapped his hand back. His knuckles were bloodied with large open wounds and bruises.
"You're not, y'know, hurting yourself, are you?" Maurice cowered back a little.
"No! Of course not, I'm not weak. I just... got into a fight the other day."
"Classic Jack," Roger rolled his eyes this time, mumbling.
Maurice sighed, "Okay, I guess."
They walked in an awkward, worried silence as they came to a curve.
"Alright, well, I'll see you guys later," Maurice smiled, walking to the building to his right.
The other two boys nodded and walked towards the left buildings.
"See ya, Maurice," Jack nodded.
"Bye," Roger waved slightly.
Maurice smiled and turned to the building he was going to, then frowned. He was, even though it felt silly to admit, worried about Jack. When he got to his class room and sat in his seat, he placed a hand on the desk and rested his head on it, thinking. What could he do for Jack? He wasn't ever going to accept any help, that was for sure: at least from Maurice, that is. Maybe he'd take it from someone else, but who?
Who... who... who... Maurice thought as he pulled out his phone and scrolled through Instagram. Suddenly, it hit him. As he saw a picture posted by Ralph in his feed, he found his answer. Maurice clicked on the iMessage button, but there was one problem.
How could he even start?
