One Look

After Cheryl and Toni enjoyed their steamy shower together, Betty went around knocking on everyone's door, and told them to meet her and Jughead downstairs for lunch.

Once the whole group was rounded up and was getting ready to order their lunch, Betty and Jughead stood up to make an announcement.

"Thanks everyone for joining us for lunch, Jug and I have some really special news. This morning, we both got an email from Yale."

Jughead cut in, "We both got accepted!"

"Oh my God guys! That's amazing, congrats!" Veronica said, standing up to hug them.

"Well if we're all going to be sharing our good news, last week I got a letter from NYU. I got in too!"

"Josie that's amazing! I'm so proud of you!" Cheryl said.

"Since Archie and I have a baby on the way, we're both taking a gap year, but I have my sights set on UCLA after the year is over." Veronica said.

"Yeah, Ronnie and I are both applying there, and we might even move to California with the baby."

"Well whatever you guys do, we're all proud of you." Betty said. "What about you guys?" She said, looking at Cheryl and Toni.

"Well we both applied to a few schools, but we haven't heard anything yet." Toni said.

"Hold that thought TT." Cheryl said, while staring at her phone. "When you guys started talking about college and stuff, I kinda got bored and went on my phone. But like, 30 seconds ago, I got an email from Columbia University."

"What the hell are you waiting for Cher? Open the damn email!" Veronica said.

The group was staring at Cheryl while she was scrolling through the email. Finally, she turned her phone off, and put it on the table.

"So?" Betty said.

"Well, they said that I was a really good candidate, and that I got in!"

"Babe that's amazing! I'm so proud of you!" Toni said, kissing her girlfriend.

After that, a waiter came and took everyone's orders, and they talked as they waited for their food.

"Wow guys, I feel like this is kind of like, the end of an era. You know?" Cheryl said.

"Yeah I mean, graduation is in a couple of weeks, and then summer, and then, college" Toni said, as she rester her head on Cheryl's shoulder.

"College. What a weird word." Archie said.

"God Archie, are you sure you'll even make it to college?" Jughead said.

"Hey, he might be an idiot, but he's my idiot." Veronica said, kissing Archie on the cheek.

When their food came, they talked more about college, and what life was going to be like years from now.

After they all finished eating, they went up to their rooms and packed their bags. They all called separate cabs, and said goodbye to each other outside of the hotel.

(flash forward to the next day at school)

"Antoinette Topaz, please report to the principal's office. Antoinette Topaz." Said the secretary, over the loudspeaker.

"Ms. Topaz," Mr. Wetherbee began to say. "These are all the colleges you applied to, correct?" He said, giving her a piece of paper with the names on it. Her and Cheryl wanted a future, so they both applied to the same colleges.

"Yes sir. Can I ask, why did you call me in here?"

"Well Ms. Topaz, I wanted to congratulate you. I have been notified that you have been offered a full scholarship to Colombia University. I believe that was your top choice?"

Toni was ecstatic. She had a giant smile on her face, and she couldn't wait to tell Cheryl.

"I-I, thank you Mr. Wetherbee! And yes, it was my top choice."

"Well Ms. Topaz, that was the bell. Have a good day."

"Thanks Mr. Wetherbee, you too!"

She couldn't believe the words that had come out of his mouth. She, Toni Topaz, had gotten a full scholarship! To Columbia University!

All that joy she was feeling immediately stopped, when she saw a familiar face when she was leaving Mr. Wetherbee's office.

"Oh, hey Toni."

"Oh, hi Ally. I'm not in the mood for whatever you have in mind, goodbye."

"What the hell Topaz? Is a simple "hi" enough to trigger you?"

"No Ally, I just don't want to talk to you after you, not only break my friend's heart, but expose her pregnancy to the entire school, vandalize her locker, and not even get suspended."

"Come on Toni. We both know that Ethel Muggs did that!"

"No, we bot that that you lied about it to Mr. Wetherbee, and threatened Ethel not to tell the truth."

"Whatever. Oh and I heard your friend Betty got into Yale. Tell her I'll see her there."

"Goodbye Ally." Toni said, walking away.

The rest of the day went by slowly for Toni, as Ally's words filled up her mind, making it hard to focus.

Toni waited to tell Cheryl her good news until they got home.

"Cher, I have some good news."

"What is it TT. Please tell me you heard back from one of the colleges."

"Actually, I did. Mr. Wetherbee called me to his office this morning to congratulate me on getting a full scholarship to Columbia University."

"Shut up! TT that's the best news I've heard all day! I'm so happy for you!" Cheryl said, as she lifted Toni off the ground, bringing her down slowly, as she leaned in for a kiss.

"I think this deserves a celebratory drink down at the Wyrm. You in bombshell?"

"Of course TT."

The two grabbed their Serpent jackets, and headed down to the Whyte Wyrm. It had just opened back up a few weeks ago after the raid, and most of the Ghoulies that were involved had been arrested.

When they arrived, the drank, danced, and had a great time. They hadn't been there in so long, that it almost felt strange. But a good kind of strange.

A/N: (before i say anything else, luke perry aka fred andrews had a stroke today, but from what i've seen he's going to be okay thank god.)
