It was Christmas Eve and Bradley and Stefani were about to leave for Stefani's parents house. Where her whole family were waiting. It was her favourite day of the year. She gets to see her cousins and aunts she doesn't see much of but loves. She gets to have fun with the people she grew up with. They were very much a partying kind of family, so because of that evenings like this always were her favourite.

Today was even more special, because Bradley was joining her. Which she was so excited for. Her parents and Natali love him, but the rest of her relatives were only waiting to finally get to meet him. Especially after the such positive opinion her mother and father have of him.

And they all over the years watched Stefani go through heartbreak and tough patches. And it was so nice to hear she's with someone good for once. Someone who loved her more than anything in the world. And that's all her family cared about.

She made her way down the stairs smiling seeing Bradley sat on the sofa flicking through the TV guide.

"You ready?" She asked, making him turn his head.

She looked gorgeous, he thought immediately. She was pretty casual, as she implied it was always chill wear, joked some might even be in Christmas pjs she told him, which made him laugh.

She was wearing a black knee length jumper dress, with little black ankle boots. Her blonde waves and slight tan, matched it even better. And she had red lipstick and killer black eyeliner. She looked amazing.

"Hello?" She laughed.

"You look fucking incredible." He said, making her roll her eyes.

"Shut up, I'm literally wearing an oversized jumper." She laughed.

"Stef, you look amazing okay. You're beautiful."

That made her heart leap. He really did make her feel like the prettiest girl in the world. "Thank you." She shyly said.

"You ready so?" He said kissing her cheek as he grabbed her hand. She nodded smiling, bringing her bag of gifts.

"So how many people are gonna be here?" He asked nervously. Of course.

"Mmm I don't know maybe like 25? Some aunts, some uncles, cousins and then their kids."

"Lots of kids in your family?" He smiled.

"Yeah there's about four really young ones like Lea's age and then there's some around ten, and about 3 teenagers."

"Wow that's a lot." He laughed.

"Yeah they're all so adorable though."

"My cousins daughter Jade, has a crush on you apparently." Stefani laughed.

"Oh she does?" He smirked.

"Yeah she's 17.. she's very disappointed I got there first."

"Bless her." He laughed.

"I love you." She said simply, resting her head on her seat, looking over at him driving. Feeling so overwhelmingly happy.
