One True Love (Castiel x Reader)

Castiel's P.O.V

Dean and I made sure Y/n was secured in the chains before walking up to the library. We sat down and Dean let out a sigh.

"I'm going to call Sammy. I can't believe he was right. I'm not going to apologize though." Dean said pulling out his phone. He quickly found Sam's number and the phone began ringing. Sam picked up on the second ring. Dean put it on speaker and set it on the table.

"Dean?" Sam said over the phone. Dean took a breath before speaking.

"Sammy, you need to come home. Is the kid there with you?" He asked as politely as Dean Winchester possibly can.

"Yeah he is. Is everything okay there Dean?" Sam replied. Shuffling was heard over the phone, so I assumed Sam was packing up.

"We'll talk about it when you get here." Dean said before ending the call. He ran his hand down his face and sighed. We waited silently in the library until Jack and Sam came through the bunker doors. It hadn't been long, so I assumed they were nearby.

"What is it that you wanted to talk about Dean?" Sam asked setting his back down off to the side and sitting beside me. Jack sat silently beside Dean waiting for him to answer.

"You were right. Something has happened to Y/n." He said plain and simple. Sam nodded and opened his mouth to speak.

"While Jack and I were gone, we did some research on Nephilims and how a powerful being like that could be controlled. And get this," He said pulling out a book that had a spot marked. He swiftly opened the book and continued, "There is a potion in here that 'allows the complete surrender of a beings mind to the caster.' This is what I believe Lucifer used on her." He finished turning the book to me.

"Is it reversible?" I asked looking up to Sam. Sam shook his head and muttered he didn't think so.

"Could we call Rowena and ask her?" Jack spoke glancing between everyone. Dean sighed but agreed. Sam pulled out his phone and clicked on her contact. She picked up on the fourth ring.

"Hello boys." She said in her typical Rowena way. Jack smiled and returned the greeting before Dean spoke up.

"We've got a question for you." He said.

"I hope it's not too personal. We wouldn't want to scar the wee lad there." Rowena laughed. Dean shook his head and rolled his eyes which made Sam chuckle.

"Actually it's about a potion." I spoke up.

"Oh? What have you boys gotten yourselves into now?" She asked seeming intrigued.

"Well, a friend of ours is being controlled by this potion, or more so the person that forced it into her. We want to know if it can be reversed." Sam explained.

"There is only one spell that I know of that does that and it's not reversible. But it can be broken. Your friend just needs to be reminded who she is loyal to. What I would suggest is having someone she cares a lot about to show her what the real her would or wouldn't do." She explained. We thanked her and said our goodbyes before Sam hung up the phone.

"Okay. So, what's the plan?" Jack asked slightly confused. We talked for a while and came up with a plan that was stupid and reckless as usual. All four of us walked to the dungeon. As we opened the door Y/n lifted her head.

"Visitors already?" She smiled. Sam nodded at Jack, who walked over and placed two fingers on her forehead, knocking her out. We undid the angel warding chains and replaced them with regular chains. We all stood around her and waited until she woke up. I hope this works, I thought to myself.
