The Missing Link (Unfortunately incomplete)

This is my favorite animation even though it's short.

Your P.O.V.

After movie night you all went to bed. Ink told you that tomorrow would be an important day. You wondered why. The next morning, you were the first one up. You looked at the clock, 5 a.m. You were overly excited, anticipating what Ink had in mind. But, since it was so early, you had to try to go back to sleep. But trying isn't the same as doing, is it? Restless and not knowing what else to do, you let your mind wander. Images of Nightmare overtake your thoughts and you get a bad feeling. But, you trust Ink, Dream and Blue, and brushed it off. You looked at the clock again. It read 5:03 a.m. You sighed, no one else would wake up for at least 2.5 more hours. Then you remembered the last time you were restless. Your necklace glowing, the portal, your curiosity. You secretly wanted something like it to happen again, though, you didn't want to scare them again. Especially Print. You sat up and looked at him peacefully sleep. It calmed you, but anxious tension still twisted in your stomach. You sat, staring at your necklace, deep in concentration. 'Light up! Do something! Why can't I just easily summon my powers like everyone else?' You sat there for who knows how long. You sighed in defeat and flopped back on the pillow. Sneaking another peek at the clock, you were very surprised. It read 7:47 a.m. You had been sitting there for over 2 hours.

Print's P.O.V. (cause why not?)

I woke up at 8:09. Stretching, my eyes wondered to the spot KC sleeps, she wasn't there. Brazy and Pallet were still sleeping so I left them to it. I wobbled downstairs, still half asleep. "K-Code?" I whispered and she poked her head out of the kitchen. She smiled, "Morning Print, did I wake you?" I shook my head. Following her into the kitchen, I noticed that she had the radio on really low. "When did you wake up?" I asked. "Um...a while ago...," she responded and quickly perked up again, "Wanna watch a movie? I didn't really like the one we watched last night. Plus we should do something quiet...-er." We decided on The Road to El Dorado. Shortly after starting, Ink appeared at the bottom of the steps. "Breakfast?" he mouthed. We both nodded. Later, after everyone was awake, Ink pulled KC aside to talk to her. She came out super happy and excited. She ran up and rapped her arms around me and squealed.  "What's going on? What are you so excited about?" I asked eagerly. Her smile was the biggest I've ever seen it, "Once they clear the people who lived in Firetale, we're going there so Ink can teach me how to use my magic! He says it's the perfect place because I can't break anything!" She squealed again, "I'M SO EXCITED!" Like I didn't know.

Your P.O.V. again

After lunch, Blue and Dream gave the signal that it was clear. You were so excited, you felt like you might explode! Ink teleported you and himself there. You no longer felt the dread and fear you had last time you stepped into this empty, black, nothingness. "Now," he said as paint started spiraling, curving, building around us, "Let's begin." The scenery around you had changed. Instead of black everywhere, you stood in a golden hallway. Gold floor tiles with beautiful glass windows and perfect golden columns lining the walls. "Are you ready?"
