And most are on their vacation trips or some just want to have fun. No questions, this hospital needs more young surgeons so we can operate well in the Surgery Department. It's quite tiring to live in the hospital.

I looked at my nails before talking to the family members of the patient. They seem fine. After putting on the blue robe for the surgery, I walked to the family members.

They were seated formally, not to mention, their clothes are very formal. Tuxedos and black shoes.

"Are you the family members of Ms. Jeon Shin-Hye?" I asked.

They looked at me and stood up.

"I'm her brother-in-law. Are you Doctor Chou Tzuyu?" the man asked.

"No, sir. I'm her substitute, Doctor Park Chaeyoung. She's having finger cramps lately. Where's the patient's husband? Or any direct son or family member?" I asked.

The brother-in-law looked at the boy next to him.

"I'm her oldest son, Jeon Il-Do," he brought out his hand to shake.

"He's the adopted son of Shin-Hye," the old man added.

"Are there any direct relatives? Her husband? Her son? Her daughter? A sister?" I asked once more.

"My younger brother..is not around, he doesn't know that his wife has a surgery here in Korea. He's in America for a kidney transplant," the older man said.

"And from the hospital's information, she has 2 biological sons. Where are they?" I asked.

The older man looked at the boy standing next to Il-Do. This family is odd. From what I understood, they are a family of 5. And their youngest is the owner of their family business. I guess Korean beliefs about the youngest having the company is tradition within the Jeons.

"He's a mute child, you see," Il-Do informed.

"I'm sorry but you're other brother couldn't be here?" I asked.

"He is a busy man, managing our family's business. But we are here as guardians for Shin-Hye," the old man told me.

I smiled, "I'm sorry, sir. You must love your sister-in-law a lot. But I guess, it's alright for you to hear private information about her. She'll be experiencing 2 operations today. We will remove her left lung and stop the clotting in her kidneys. After that, we aren't allowing her to undergo chemotherapy. Her cancer hasn't spread yet, so we will only recommend her to take-in medicine after she's fully recovered. And she is strictly not allowed to smoke or drink after this surgery."

"Eomma will get angry after this, she loves drinking scotch and whiskey," Il-Do laughed.

"Would you like to watch the surgery? You are our VIP members but your younger brother should stay, he might cause a fuss inside the OR," I offered.

Ms. Shin-Hye's brother-in-law looks very worried. Is she that dear to all of them?

"Where can he stay?" Il-Do asked.

"I'll ask one of the nurses to bring him to your mother's room."

"Can my other nephew enter as well? He'll be late, though," the older Jeon asked.

"Yes, sir. I'll ask the nurse to bring him in as well. Please wait here, we'll call you in if it's alright too enter," I told them.

Inside the OR, it's really really warm. Very virus-free and very intense. VIP members are allowed to watch surgeries from the observation room. And when one does watch, it gets really intense. Especially if you're operating on their family members.
