I'm Breaking

Chaeyoung PoV

"Alright, Lisa, I'll see you tomorrow. I love you, and tell Jiyoon I love her too. Bye," I said.

Lisa called to check if I was headed to the airport already. Well, not yet. The service hasn't arrived and we were all just preparing to leave. 

I heard that there will be another medical staff that will take over but they're from another hospital. Apparently, the government had made it a requirement to the big hospitals to at least have 1 mission here. 

Since we're done with it, we were all bummed out to leave. 

Yesterday our feeding program left all of us to tears when we were fixing the place. No one wanted to leave yet but we all know that we have to go home. 

Yeah, we can go back here anytime but the hospital needed most of us. Especially me and my residents. And our main career belongs inside the hospital and not here. 

And...some of us has to return home to special people. 

Anyway, we were just doing our rounds and tending to the patients while waiting for the car service. Our luggage were already placed in a line in front of the hospital and some of the nurses went to fix the dorms for the next medical staff. 

I was standing outside, taking some fresh air. I feel bitter-sweet about the situation. None of us did what we wanted to do. 

Like go to Honolulu during the weekends and shop. It turned out that we stayed in the hospital more and did work, enjoyed the company of our patients. 

Jungkook..was here. Yeah, he was. But I won't let him affect my emotions because of his sudden cold shoulder. I will get my answers once I've returned to Korea. Patience is a virtue, indeed. 

The car service finally arrived, and everyone went outside of the hospital. There was a girl, with red high lights that exited the car. She looks young, probably a from the next group that will come. 

"Uhm...where is Ms. Roseanne Park?" the driver asked. 

I raised my hand.

"Oh, only 7 people can fit right now. We'll need 2 trips, is it alright to divide the team?" 

I nodded, "Alright, Yunhyeong Team and Yeri Team. Flip coin on whoever goes first, and 7 people for Yunhyeong while 8 for Yeri."

"Okay."

"Split, split."

"I'm Team Yunhyeong!!" 

3 Park never divided so we decided to stay in Yunhyeong's Team when the coin said Yeri's Team will go first. 

Chanyeol helped the other boys put in all the carry-ons at the back. Our luggage will be with us in the next trip.

When I turned around, the girl with red highlights was hesitating to go inside the hospital. I approached her, thinking she maybe one of the relatives of a patient. 

"Excuse me?" I asked. "Do you have any relatives in there?"

She looked at me, "Oh, no. I'm from the upcoming medical staff. Oh, my God--!!"

I looked shock when she started screaming in front of me and started to grip my hand tightly. 

"You're Doctor Park Chaeyoung?!" she screamed. "I'm sorry! I'm a big fan of yours! Imagine, no patients dead yet! I really want to be like you!!"

"Oh," I laughed and took my hand back. "Thank you, Ms..?"

She hit her head softly, "Why did I forget? Sorry, Doctor Park. I'm Shin Ryujin from Seon Hospital."
