They and been following Jason's car for about an hour when Jay called the second time.
"Halstead what is it?"
"Hank, When Erin left did you give her anything?" Jay said his voice panicked.
"What do you mean?"
"The piece of evidence we found that would lead us to who ever was there," he gulped. " a tag on a chain-"
"With a thumbprint?" Hank interrupted.
"Yes. We ran the print-"
"It's mine I know. I gave it to Erin before she left. She wasn't at the apartment?"
"No. They'd cleared off - oh Gosh they have Erin" He Tailed off at the end.
"Get in a car and drive out here, Bring the Long guns , enough for everyone. Bring the other necessary equipment for stake outs"
"What. You're  not just going to get her? Pull the car over!"
"And lose the whole Case?! Jay as much as I want to pull their sorry ass over, we have a case! And if we Catch them with The Drugs as well they go away Longer! So you, Upton and the other two are gonna load up a van and Follow us. We may be an hour ahead but these drugs aren't coming till way Later."
Jay sighed but his rational side took over. "Ok. I'll tell them. Text me the list, Brook and Hasleholf are wary about us. Your Record isn't the best to pull up."
And just as quickly as it started it ended.

"Right so I just talked to Voight. He confirmed my suspicions about the tag."
"What do you mean, who's prints are they?" Upton asked, annoyed that she'd been kept out the loop.
Jay nodded to Brook who beckoned for Upton to come over.
"There was a lot of different finger prints on there, New ones that were easier to read and older ones lost under them all. The ones we could identify.. Hank Voight, the one inked on, Erin Lindsay, most prints were hers and there were some older ones we almost hadn't picked up, Justin Voight. Funny, they all have records." Brook said. Upton stood staring at the monitor screen, but it made sense. And now it seemed, their case had crossed into Erin's missing person's case.
"Yes. They all have records, But Voight and Lindsay were and are good cops, the past is in the past. As for Justin, when he got out he eventually turned his life around. He has a kid, but then him turning his life around got him killed. That's all I'm going to say" Jay said defensively.
Upton still stared at the screen.
"How do you know this Erin, what's it to do with this case?"
"No time for questions. Voight is sending over a list of what we need, We are going to join them. They think where ever these guys are going that it is the final destination.." Jay added. "And you are just going to have to trust us. There is no time to argue"

"Ok. Our suspects went into that warehouse over there" Voight said, Halstead, Upton, Brook and Hasleholf had just arrived. They had pulled up next to the 2 cars already there, which were parked a few warehouses behind the suspect's.
"Conveniently their warehouse is right by the water. So they can dump all evidence. Fortunately for us, we've already done some scooping and the adjoining warehouse is abandoned. We couldn't enter because doors are stiff and busting it down would be too noisy. Do you have the stuff we asked you to bring?"
"Yep"
"Good. We'll drive off and you take the van over to the warehouse. See if you can open a door or something. We'll come back in an hour with food."
"Okay."
They made it look like an exchange before driving their separate ways.
The Guys in the Van drove over to the adjoining warehouse. The doors, as said, wouldn't open. So they tried a few tricks and finally got one to open, as quietly as they could. Inside little Light fought its way through the high Windows. They were covered with dirt, dust and grime, clearly not cleaned in ages. The dust that had once been settled rose up again as 3 of them walked in (Brook had to stay in the Van). The warehouse was empty except from a balcony running along the adjoining wall, it stuck out about half way into the warehouse, a set of stairs at either side. They let the door fall closed, but as they thought, it wouldn't go all the way closed, they could still push it open.
Upton coughed "man this place is dirty."
"Yeah." Jay agreed, coughing.
"Hopefully it will die down. Is it possible to open a window?" Hasleholf asked.
"Umm.." Jay looked around. "Ah there we go." He pointed to a pole in the distance, so long and thin it looked like one you would use for a high jump or something.
For about ten minuets they attempted to open a window before it finally happened. "Hopefully it wasn't to noisy." Hasleholf said.
"Hey its less dusty up here" Upton said from the balcony.
"Ok that's where we will set up. Then"
"Good idea. I just hope it holds." Halstead eyed it wearily
"Hey. Do you hear that?" Upton said.
"Hear what?" Halstead responded.
"Shh." She said. They were all quiet for a minuet. Nothing could be heard except the lapping of tidel water against the concrete walk. Jay was about to say he couldn't hear anything when they all heard it. Screams and shouting. They looked at each other. "I'll go check on Brook" Hasleholf said, thinking it could be coming from outside. Upton and Halstead knew better and put their ears to the wall. "It's definitely coming from in there." They said.
"AGHH"
"--TELL US!--"
"NO!-"
"-AGGHHH!!"
"Oh my gosh" Upton said. They couldn't hear much but what they could was horrifying. Jay was white as a sheet.
"Let me in there!" He said.
"No. Jay, as much as I want to we have to wait" Upton said.
Another Scream of pure agony could be heard. And then nothing. Jay broke down "no!-No!"
"Jay. Jay." Upton tried to get his attention. "She'll be fine. She's tough remember. Hard to break."
"What if it's been going on for all the time she was missing?" Halstead asked.
"She's got this far, she can make a few more hours" Upton knew that was a small chance but she had to keep Halstead from going in for at least an hour.
For Halstead this was a tough time. It brought back the memory of when she was almost rapped. Now had he been furious at that guy, he shot him as soon as he could, but it also reminded him of when he was abducted, the pain of the beating. He hadn't been there long yet parts of him had told Him to break. He knew Upton was right - Erin was strong, but if it had been going on for the week...
He sat down and burried his head within his arms. Upton, feeling a little lost, put a comforting arm round Him. When Hasleholf came back he didn't know what to make of it all.
Upton got up to explain things.
"So Erin Lindsay , She and Halstead were Partners, back when Lindsay was in Chicago. She was missing a week ago. And as you know that tag has her prints in it, so we think Erin might be in there. And Jay- Halstead, Well Its bringing up a lot of stuff.
Hasleholf nodded, Partners going missing was A hard thing to go through.
