The group, now all together once again, gathered in the dining room of the Greene's home. They were having a discussion of what they should do with the boy they brought back. Apparently when Rick and Glenn went to the bar to convince Hershel to come back to the farm, there was a group of men that attacked the trio.

Randall, the boy, was part of the group. He had fallen off of the roof of a building when his group was trying to make a getaway, and landed on a dumpster. A spiked fence went through his lower leg when he fell. Rick, being the kind hearted person he is, couldn't leave him behind to bleed out or be eaten by walkers.

Lori wouldn't allow Carl and I to be in the room with the adults as they discussed the matter, so we eavesdropped from the living room.

"We couldn't just leave him behind." Rick's voice spoke, "He would've bled out, if he lived that long."

"It's gotten bad in town." Glenn informed the group. Just as he spoke, Hershel came into the living room where Carl and I were.

"You two are the nosiest kids I have ever met." He smiled down at us as he walked by, "Don't worry. I won't tell."

"I repaired his calf muscle as best as I can, but he'll probably have nerve damage." He stated to the group once he entered the dining room. "Won't be on his feet for at least a week."

"When he is, we give him a canteen, take him out to the main road, send him on his way." Rick quickly stated.

Andrea's voice questioned Rick, "Isn't that the same as leaving him for the walkers?"

"He'll have a fighting chance."

My dad quickly decided to make this discussion into an argument by putting his two cents in, "Just gonna let him go? He knows where we are."

"He was blindfolded the whole way here. He's not a threat."

"Not a threat. How many of them were there? You killed three of their men, you took one of them hostage, but they ain't gonna come looking?" I rolled my blue eyes.

"They left him for dead. No one is looking." Rick's voice sounded irritated.

"We should still post a guard." T intervened.

Hershel spoke up, informing them of Randall's current status, "He's out cold right now, will be for hours."

Displeased that he wasn't in charge, my dad started sarcastically speaking in a loud voice, "You know what? I'm gonna go get him some flowers and candy. Look at this, folks, we back in fantasy land."

My dad entered the living room heading for the door as Hershel yelled, "You know, we haven't even dealt with what you did at my barn yet. Let me make this perfectly clear, once and for all. This is my farm. Now I wanted you gone. Rick talked me out of it, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. So do us both a favor. Keep your mouth shut."
