Crowded Place

Either way, I still had work to do. I let out a deep breath as I got up. I got to my desk and started working.

I woke up the next morning, luckily without a stiff neck. I went to bed as soon as I finished. I freshened up, and changed my clothes.

I unplugged my phone from my charger and grabbed my book. I started out the front door back to the cafe. I walked up to the counter and ordered a sandwich and coffee.

After I grabbed the beverage and food, I walked over to my normal table. The one near the back, by the windows. After reading a few chapters and finishing half the sandwich, one of the employees came up to me. They sat in the seat right across from me.

"Hey B/f/n." I said as I slid my bookmark into the book.

"Looking for someone?" She giggled out. She observed my wandering eyes. B/f/n is my best friend, she works here at the cafe but outside, she's the best person to be around.

"Hehe, yeah."

"Sorry to disappoint but he normally doesn't come here."

"What do you mean normally?" B/f/n's eyes widened as if she told me something she shouldn't have. "B/f/n~." I dragged out her name.

"Oh! Nothing~." B/f/n laughed it off, waving her hand in front of her face. I looked at her suspiciously.

"Spill the tea gir-."

"B/f/n! We need your help here!" One of B/f/n's coworkers called out, and rudely interrupted me. B/f/n smirked at me, and swiftly walked away.

I softly growled and picked up my book once more. I flipped to the page where my bookmark was and continued reading. Occasionally, my eyes flicked up and tried to find you know who.

Ten minutes later, my coffee long gone along with my food, I closed my book and got up. I walked outside and continued walking the opposite way of my house. There was a cute park a few blocks ahead.

My eyes looked around until it found a certain someone. It looked exactly like C/n. I felt my heart stop for a second. Although, when I shook my head to make sure, I realized it just a random stranger.

This happened more times than it should...

I sighed as I finally reached the park. I sat under a big tree, it's branches providing shade from the bright sun. I grabbed my book and flipped through the pages out of boredom.

I watched as kids joyfully played on the apparatus. The parents smiling as they watched their children having fun. I smiled softly at the scene as I pulled out my phone. On the screen I found a random text from C/n.

Me:

Look up ya nerd

I followed C/n's order and looked up. I found nothing. I even looked around to the surrounding trees.

Nothing.

Me:
wdym?
i see nothing

C/n:
Seriously?
You blind child, look up

Me:
istg if this is some prank...

Once again, I looked up. This time, I noticed a pair of feet. I followed them up and was met with a familiar face. I gasped softly.

"Hello there, Y/n." C/n brightly smiled and I couldn't help but join. My heart was racing. I couldn't believe C/n was right in front of me.

Eventually, C/n sat down beside me. He rested his head against the tree. He laid his head down on my shoulder. My face bursted our a bright red colour.

"B/f/n told me she almost let it slip earlier." C/n said, as he stared up at the sky.

"What?"

"That I didn't go to that cafe normally."

"Oh, so how come the 'normally'?" I asked.

"I went there about a week ago and tried to find you."

"Why did you need to find me?"

"To confess."

"W-what?" I turned to face C/n as soon as he lifted his face.

"I couldn't do it at school because there too many people, but I like you Y/n," He stared right at into my eyes. I immediately got lost in his eyes. "I really, really do."

"I like you too C/n."

So how long have I been inactive for? 😂😂. Sorry y'all just busy. Anyways, it's badminton season here and like, my crush playing it. Oml b l u s h i n g. That kid is so cute I swear it'll kill me one day.  I'm ending the a/n before it turns into me fawning over him... and his beautiful eyes... Alrighty! Signing off! Bye~.
