A/N: Sorry for taking forever to update, life has been pretty hectic.
Also sorry about what I'm doing to Tom, I've been noticing that Tom isn't very human in fanfics and wanted to try it out making more human.

Narrator's POV

In the few weeks that had passed since Abraxas' death, the Dark Lord had gone silent, not just figuratively but literally as well, he barely even speak to his soulmate.

He was a sorry sight, his ruby eyes were bloodshot, his normally curly hair was a mess and he hadn't left bed at all to tend to his needs, claiming he was immortal and didn't need to do anything of that.

Even the Death Eaters were worried about their Lord, only his Inner Circle knew what was keeping him from the work but no one truly understood how hurt he was.

For decades the Dark Lord had made himself seem like an emotionless leader with no fear with unquestioned power and intelligence, they had known nothing about the man beneath.

Back in the master bedroom of Riddle Manor, Harry was trying and failing to coax Tom to drink some water.

"You know, love, it's pretty weird to think that the very first thing I ever did was kill someone." Tom suddenly said, breaking the silence he had been under for the past few weeks

"What do you mean?" Harry asked, happy to hear him talking again

"I killed my mother while she was having me, the first thing I ever did was kill someone." Tom explained, stating up at the ceiling, "I don't even know how many people I've killed now nor how many deaths I'm responsible for."

"You've done what you had to, you never kill unless necessary." Harry comforted, "You hate seeing magical blood spilled."

Tom ignored the statement, "I used to keep track, I think I was up to like 70 murders and 120 deaths I've planned but then I lost my fucking mind and now I have no clue. I killed my own followers for nothing sometimes...just because they annoyed me, because they looked at me wrong, because the questioned me."

"Because you lost your mind." Harry soothed, kissing his forehead

Tom leaned into Harry's touch, "I miss him so much. I should have visited him at least once. I should have realized age was catching up."

Harry crawled into bed with him, hugging him, "You're a very busy man, you don't have very much free time, honey. It wasn't your fault even a little, Abraxas knew it was his time and accepted death. If anything, you made him more comfortable in his last moments."

Tom kissed Harry gently, "What did I do to deserve you?"

Harry blushed, "Nothing at all, you didn't need to do anything except wait."

Lord Voldemort was back in action the very next day.

He called a meeting and summoned all of his followers, explaining that the Final Battle was approaching and they needed to prepare by having the biggest raid they'd ever had.

Belenos Ont, a still Low-Ranking Death Eater stood in the back of the room, knowing he had a choice.

He could a: not say anything about the raid and ride the path to victory as a no one; or b: give this information and all it's details to Albus Dumbledore and go out of the war a rich man.

Belenos absolutely choose B in his greed.

The next day, the Death Eaters arrived to the Ministry of Magic and found themselves utterly surrounded, instantly knowing that they had been betrayed and everyone rushed to apparate away.

Lady Tenebris rushed to insure everyone was gone, using Lord Voldemort's Fiendfyre distraction to their advantage.

Once everyone else but them were gone, Lady Tenebris apparated back to base.

Back at the Ministry, the Dark Lord was surrounded and not even he could handle 100 armed wizards and witches alone forever.

He dodged their attacks and threw his own, desperately looking for an exit that would allow him the few seconds he needed to apparate.

Lord Voldemort internally cursed as he found none, knowing he would have to play his odds.

Unfortunately, while he was calculating and dodging, Albus Dumbledore threw a Petrificus Totalus at his back.

An hour later, the Dark Lord found himself chained to the wall and shirtless, recognizing his surroundings as the Hogwarts Dungeon.

So Albus hadn't been working with the Ministry, that was good.

But not so good was where he was trapped, the Hogwarts Dungeons were treated as a myth —not unlike the Chamber of Secrets— and no one knew where it was; what people claimed to be the Dungeons, where the Slytherin Dorm resided, wasn't actually the Dungeon but the bottom floor.

Lord Voldemort pulled on the chains, feeling one around his neck, he could barely feel his magic: he was screwed.

He heard steps coming from down the stairs and saw Albus Dumbledore enter the room, his phoenix on his shoulder like a damn parrot.

"There used to be a time I could scare you off with a flaming wardrobe." Albus said

"Yes, you do seem to enjoy scaring children." The Dark Lord smugly replied

"Better than killing them." Albus fought back, thinking of his dead tools

"We both know that the painless Killing Curse I gave them was far kinder than what you had planned for them, Albus."

"Either way, I find myself missing two Saviors, so I suppose I'll have be done with you the old fashioned way. Tell me, will your followers collapse like a house of cards when they find your corpse, Tom?"

"If you manage to kill my body I'll simply just return again, Albus, I cannot be killed."

"Yes, I almost forgot about your horcruxes. Harry managed to destroy one of them, a diary. And by killing him you destroyed another."

"A worthy sacrifice, but not a hinderance to my immortality. I've had nearly half a century to make horcruxes, Albus, you have no idea how many I've made nor any idea what they are." Voldemort countered, then spitting in Albus' face, "I'm perfectly safe."

That seemed to anger the old man, resulting in him making the chains dig into the Dark Lord's skin, making him bleed all around his arms and around his neck.

Lord Voldemort didn't look very impressed, "Is that all you got, Albus, for trying to torture your sworn enemy you're doing a rubbish job. Especially since I know you can't kill me, I bet I'll be free in an hour."

(A/N: Pretend Voldy looks like Tom)

That seemed to anger the light wizard more, resulting in the chains to dig in deeper, the Dark Lord didn't even flinch

Eventually Albus stormed off, finally allowing the Dark Lord to drop his mask and react to his pain.

A little while later, in came a little house-elf and Lord Voldemort knew his escape had arrived.

He expertly talked the house-elf into disobeying her orders and unlocking his chains just while she cleaned, he promised.

Once free, he killed her wandlessly and wordlessly, summoning a shirt and rushing into the Chamber of Secrets and apparating back home...
