 "Vibha who all did you contact?" as she was the only one remaining after collecting other's information. "I contacted about 3 most trusted friends of mom. They said that something was bothering her after her first wedding anniversary. One of the friend even told that she secretly got to know some secrets about Appa's family who was not even aware of it. Her friend insisted mom a lot, but she told that she will solve it herself." she told and gave me the details of the friends she contacted.

  "Nandini, is your parent's case still there or it is closed?" Druv asked me once all were quiet. I had told them the whole incident of Mangalore. "I don't know Druv. The only thing I knew was my parents were killed by thieves when they were welcoming me to their family." After knowing all these things, I feel like I should cry whole day and let out my frustration. I didn't even contacted police department to know about my parent's murder.

 "Hey, we are here for you." Aliya said keeping her left palm on my right one, bringing me from the world of my thoughts. "Now shall we change the topic?" Navya asked seeing the tension in the room. At the same time the door bell rang and very special persons came in font of me. I looked at them open mouth. "Miss. Murthy close your mouth, I doubt mosquitoes may construct their house inside it." I immediately did and allowed them to enter.

  Mukti followed Mr. Thakkar making a bad face and cursing her fate. 'Why is he here?' I asked though my lip movement. She gestured that she will explain me later and entered with us. Everyone made themselves comfortable and it was Mr. Thakkar who cleared his throat. "Mukti gave me the invitation of your concert and as dad cannot come because of his health issues, I will be coming in his place as chief guest." his declaration made Mukti to bang her head against wall. Kabir being the evil man started recording the antics of Mukti secretly in his phone.

  "We are very glad to welcome you Mr. Thakkar." Druv said and handed him the snacks which Navya brought form kitchen seeing the guests. Now Mukti came with 9 glasses of orange juice and handed it to everyone including herself. "Mr. Thakkar can I ask a question?" Manik said and I can see a devil dancing beside him. Mr. Thakkar nodded to which Manik fired the most unexpected question "When are you planning to marry Mukti?" Along with me six people spat the juice listening this. Except Druv the three men sat with all the calmness.

  Should it not the phase where you need to threaten your best friend's boyfriend to stay away from his friend and even not to look at her? Generation changes rapidly. Mr. Thakkar had a small blush on his cheeks. Kabir was still busy in recording everything and others except Manik were with their wide eyes. "I will marry her when she is ready." Mr. Thakkar said taking a sip from his glass. I saw Mukti who was red like cherry and didn't dare to match anyone's eyes.

  "So how is the case going on?" with this question of Mr. Thakkar had me and others explaining the things we found. When I said about my parents his body language changed for a few seconds, soon he masked it with his poker face. Is there anything that I should be knowing which Mr. Thakkar knows?

  It was the day of concert and I am at the back stage helping the girls to get ready. Navya have organised the notes of the music. Vibha is helping them with their make up. Well I am checking the last minute preparations. "I will check the stage decoration." I said and moved out soon Navya joined me saying she will accompany me.

  We went under the stage to see all the light system and extra effects like bursting of colours at their last performance. I saw someone going near electricity board. I followed him secretly what he did next made me shocked. He placed a bomb where the colour busters were placed. I called Navya who was shaken a bit by witnessing the scene. I immediately called Jason so he could catch the victim as soon a s possible. Manik is calling me, but I declined his call as I have to keep an eye on the culprit in front of me.

  He was going to move, but Navya was quick to bang his head with the nearest rod so he got unconscious. We asked the help of other staff present there and soon Jason joined us and ensured that he will take care from here. I Knocked Manik's dressing room which opened within a second and was met with bone crushing hug. He checked me frantically saying I should receive the call whenever he calls me.

  "Manik, I am ok. Nothing happened to me." but he told me which I never wanted him to know. "Jason told me everything." I knew if I didn't make it clear to him then he will be angry. "I don't wanted you to taka tension about it so I kept it as a secret and moreover to have to perform in few minutes." I said and it was almost time for him to go to stage.

  he smiled at me and kissed my forehead.

  These small gestures of him make me want to be with him for more time.
