Chapter 11

I helped her stand up on her bed so she would get that big, big, big hug she was talking about. 

Everything about her makes me happy, the way she talks about her experiences makes me interested. Usually, I'd get bored with those kinds of talks and just space out while people would keep talking. 

For Jiyoon, my ears are all hers and she catches my attention with the exaggerated actions she makes. 

When she was sent to the OR and Namjoon told me, I was very sad and panicked at the same time. Why did I feel like that? This kid and I aren't even close, we met a few times when I'd visit Namjoon here. 

And to think that Chaeyoung wants me to be like..a 'dad' to her because I'm her friend. Well, I didn't misinterpret that, the guy nurse she's always with, his name is Park Chanyeol and he's also like a 'dad' to Jiyoon.

In short, Jiyoon has lots of 'dads' and I'm just one of them. 

"I have a name for you," Jiyoon says. 

"Really?" I giggled. "What's it?"

"Tokki."

My eyes widened, "Tokki? A rabbit? How come?"

"You look like one," she laughed really hard.

I ruffled her hair, "You also look like a rabbit, makes you one too."

"Tokki-ahjussi then!" 

"I'm not an ahjussi, I'm still young."

"Then...Kookie-appa!" 

My smile widened, "Kookie-appa? That's better and because you have a name for me, I got one for you."

"Tell me, tell me!" 

"I'll call you my sunshine."

"Sunshine? Lame!!!" she placed her thumbs up down. 

"It's simple but it's got a meaning. It means you lighten up my world."

"How about mommy, what should we call her?"

"I don't think your mom would like us to call her something but keep this a secret, her code name is dinosaur."

She laughed, "Because she eats a lot?"

"Yup, and she gets angry a lot too."

The door opened and we saw Taehyung entering the room. 

He suddenly squealed because of Jiyoon, he's always like that when he sees kids. Especially the kid that smiles, he loves kids. 

Of course, Jiyoon being Jiyoon, she reacted the way Taehyung reacted. But not because he's handsome or anything but because he ran to her and started to do the cringey 'coochie, coochie goo' thing. 

Come to think of it, yesterday Taehyung had black hair and today his hair is grey. And what is he wearing? A baggy shirt and a tie with ripped jeans? Is he going to some kind of party? This is the hospital for goodness sakes. 

"Uh, hyung, before anything else, what are you wearing?" I asked. "And why did you dye your hair?"

"Oh, come on Jungkook, don't you know the latest fashion trends? Wearing all-black is starting to get old," he makes an 'aegyo' and got me more cringed. "Dyed my hair coz I felt like it."

"Go wear a black tux, we're going to have a business video meeting in a few hours."

He placed his hands on his hips, "Jeez, chill first. Going to the hospital like you makes me look like I'm visiting the dead. Have some fun first."
