Darren brought me to set

I giggled internally and made sure that my ringer was off. Someone poked me in the shoulder and I looked back. It was Darren. "Need some help?" He smiled. I nodded. "Come on."

I ended up in a circle through some turn of events. "Talk," Darren motioned to me.

"About what?" I whispered to him.

"First kiss story," Darren suggested.

"Okay, my best friend doesn't even know about it, that's not going to happen," I whispered in reply.

"Fine. Um, what's the best part of Chicago?" Darren asked me. I wasn't aware that everyone was listening as I excitedly launched into a story.

"I really like the Twisted cast. Everyone's awesome. Even the people that only watch rehearsal most of the time, like Joey and Eric are really nice and they helped me type when I first got my cast before I could even figure out how to read like a normal person. There was one day when I had to edit an article for work and then I couldn't type. I kept adding in semicolons instead of commas. Joey helped me that day. Also, Lo has been super cool. I have a fear of flying and there was turbulence on the way to Chicago, so she helped me calm down and I was super relaxed," I said excitedly, before noticing everyone had listened to my story.

"So, it's not for," Darren paused his whisper for dramatic effect, "him?"

"Darren Everett Criss, I swear," I said back, trying to stop the flush from creeping up my face. I heard everyone 'ohhh, damn' around me.

"Okay, okay," Darren said, putting his hands up. I smirked.

"That's better," I said.

"Damn, Darren, I like her sass," Chris said. I became a bit more nervous and took Darren's hand.

"That's a compliment," Darren whispered. I smiled and he gave me a squeeze.

"Okay, we only have a bit so we're running scene five for this episode along with blocking," Darren's boss said. I left them to their own devices and sat in the back. The directing and blocking started and the lead boss guy came to me.

"So, if you're going to stay here, I need you to sign this saying you won't reveal anything that happens on set while you watch," he said, handing me a clipboard with a pen.

"Okay," I said, signing on the line.

"Thank you. Enjoy today," he said. I smiled and watched from the back.

When we were driving home that day, I was pretty enthusiastic. "That wasn't too bad, was it?" Darren asked me.

"It was pretty good. A heck of a lot better than I expected," I noted.

"And you socialized on your own," Darren said, referring to the conversation I had near the end with Chris.

"What was your favorite part about book one?" Chris asked me.

"Well, I had a really fun journey overall, but I really liked Conner and Alex. They were both organic and relatable. Conner is me in the mornings and Alex is how I was in school," I answered.

"Well, do you think Darren could bring you more? I like you," Chris said. "Platonically, of course. I heard from your whispered conversation with Darren you're taken. And you're not my type."

"Oh no," I said, "I was at a party and it was all Rachael's fault."

"So, you're single," Chris said.

"Yeah," I answered uncertainly before remembering my internet stalking. I thought for a moment and decided to have some fun. "But I have a ton of fictional husbands, so don't get any ideas."

"Oh I'm not," he assured me with a smile. "On a completely unrelated topic, can I have your phone number?"

"Okay," I said, giving him my number. Why I did it, I have no idea. But I made a friend and that's all that mattered.

"That was pretty cool," I said, sneakily texting him.

"Well, do you want to keep coming with me until you have to go back to Chicago?" Darren offered.

"Yeah!" I exclaimed excitedly.

Okay, sorry for this update being late. I was off-the-grid and I meant to update sooner, but I forgot. I will publish on Friday, per usual. Don't worry. Now, I'm going to talk about the Black Friday livestream, so if you haven't seen it, have a great week!

OKAY OKAY OKAY!!!! Black Friday. I'm excited for Curt and I've never seen Kim act, so I'm excited for that. I'm going to defend "Califor. M. I. A." because it's such a bop that slaps and it's a Mariah and Robert duet (which I love so much!). We might see a possible kid  in Starkid, so that's something I'm excited about seeing. Mariah in a lead....YES! DYLAN AND DARREN ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not totally done with the livestream, so I haven't heard Becky's song yet, but I'm excited to see that later today. I also want Jon to just wear a Wiggly suit because that'd be great. I'm just excited!!! Have an awesome week!!!
