Almost Lethal (COMPLETE)

Jisoo immediately goes to Jennie and hugs her while caressing her back as the girl cries herself out. Jennie embraces Jisoo's arm while she cries. The older feels Jennie's heavy breathing and coughing because of too much crying. She looks at the girl anxiously while caressing her back.

"Unnie.....s-she...L-Lisa....s-she broke up w-with me....unnie...i-it hurts....it hurts so much..." Jennie cries as she utters the words while gripping on Jisoo's arms tight and tries to catch her breath.

"Shhh.." Jisoo hushes as she caressed Jennie's back and her chin leaning on the younger's head as she embraces her.

"Let her cool down for now, Jennie-yah. She's just angry. But she'll be back. Don't worry. You guys will be fine. Shhh." Jisoo tries to calm Jennie and still caressing her back.

"Unnie....she's bleeding...her hands....please...."

"Okay. I'll ask Chaeyoung to look for her. For now.. go get some rest. I'll clean this up, okay. Lisa will be fine." Jisoo utters and looks at Jennie then hugged her again.

"Chaeng!" she calls but no response.

"Chaeyoung-ah!" another call but nothing.

"Yah! Park Chaeyoung!" last call but nothing.

"Sht! Where did she go.." she mumbles.

Jisoo helped Jennie stands up but she barely does because she feels weak because of crying too much and being hurt, physically and emotionally. Jisoo lets her sit on her bed and wipes her tears.

"Jennie-yah.." she mumbles.

"What happened? I mean.. do you want to tell me your side about everything? Why did you do it, Jennie-yah? Why did you lie to her?"

Jennie sniffs and tries to heave a heavy breath then wipes her tears. She then glances at Jisoo from time to time because she feels embarassed about what happened.

"Unnie.. I did it on purpose. I can't tell her."

"Why? It's her mother, Jennie-yah. You know how much she wanted to look for her and be with her."

"I know, unnie. And it hurts me seeing her like that. You don't know how much I wanted to help her. But it's all for Lisa's sake. Unnie.. if I tell you this.. if I tell you everything.. you're the first person to know about it. Can you handle it? Rosé can't know about this."

"I-I'll try." Jisoo stuttered.

'I think I would be the one who would be keeping secrets between us. I'm sorry, Chaeng but someone really needs to understand the situation.' Jisoo thought.

"Unnie.. I was 12 years old when I knew that my father kept Lisa's mother as a prisoner. She was locked in a small apartment outside the institute." Jennie tells Jisoo the story.

"How did you know about it? And why?"

"She's a former DoD Agent also."

"Really? Omo.. then how did you know about it?"

"Yeah and I knew about it when I accidentally overheard my father and some COs talking about Lisa's mother. I've heard enough information until some agents walk towards their direction and immediately stopped talking. Luckily, no one saw me that time." she glances at Jisoo, who's attentively listening to her.

"Then one time, my father wanted me to go with him. Like.. he wanted some father-daughter bond. Secretly of course because none of the agents know I'm his daughter, then and now.. well.. except you and the others. You know who I mean. And yeah.. we're that close before. But not anymore when I heard about Lisa's mother. That day, he said he just needed to check on something quickly so the car suddenly stopped in front of that small apartment where Lisa's mother was kept."
