Almost Lethal (COMPLETE)

2 MONTHS LATER*

Jennie and ChaeSoo is waiting in a restaurant again. Today is the day that Lisa and her parents will come back in Korea. Jennie didn't have the chance to follow them in US because the mission about the former Institute agents became harder for them. They have felt that they need Lisa's instincts and mind during those times but they didn't have a choice but to do it themselves.

Eomoni never fails to update Jennie about Lisa's condition as Lisa requested. But of course, she chooses the words to say and avoids Jennie to get worried because she knew that time that the mission is still on going.

They even did some facetime for Jennie to see Lisa's condition. She's already stable that time. The surgery went successful. Jennie just couldn't help but shed some tears because she misses Lisa so much. All she did was to touch the screen and cries during their facetime. Eomoni told Jennie that Lisa really forgot everything again. Jennie can't help it but to tear up again. Though it was expected already, she just can't help it.

Today, they are waiting for them. They decided to eat first since Rosé insisted. She even told the two that she will treat them whatever they want just to go eat with her. Jennie forgave Rosé already, she actually realized that it's really no one's fault. She even apologized to them too.

"Chaeyoung, can I ask you something?" Jennie utters.

"Ne, unnie. What is it?"

"What would you choose, Foods or---Of course, foods. No one can defeat foods. It's always on my top list."

Jennie laughed so hard.

"I was gonna say, foods or Jisoo unnie. HAHAHA!"

Rosé turns to Jisoo, who's having a straight face while looking at her food. Jennie just keeps on laughing. Jisoo is just quiet while Rosé is gulping so hard on her seat.

"U-Unnie.." she tries to call her but she cracked and she doesn't know how to approach the older. Jisoo is still quiet.

"Unnie~" Rosé leans her chubby cheeks to Jisoo's shoulders. Jisoo suddenly pecks on the younger's forehead.

"So you're not mad?" Rosé gladly asks her.

"Why would I? Atleast I now realized that it won't hurt you when I'm gone."

"U-Unnie.." Rosé pouts again. Jennie looked at Jisoo surprisingly too.

"Atleast you have foods, right?" Jisoo utters coldly.

"Mianhae, unnie~" Rosé sniffs.

"Unnie, we're just joking. You don't have to be that serious."

Jisoo looked at Jennie. Then to Rosé.

"How does it feel being played on? HAHAHA! Chaeng! I can't believe you really cried. HAHAHA!"

"Unnie!!" Rosé hugs Jisoo tight while the older only laughed so hard.

"Aigooo.. so cute.. this chipmunk so cute!" Jisoo said while slightly pinching her cheeks.

"Okay. Stop that now. I'm being third wheel again. Let's go. Eomoni might be waiting for us already." Jennie utters while smiling at the two.

The three finished their foods and stood up.

"Wait. Should buy them a take out?" Jennie looks at the two.

"Yeah. They must be hungry." Jisoo replied.

Jennie walks to the counter. She told the guy her orders and gave her payment. The guy smiles at Jennie but the girl didn't notice it because she's focused on someone that's entered the restaurant. Even ChaeSoo is shocked.
