Loyalty, fidelity, any names that appear to have the same meaning of them, are embedded inside every heavenly angel's soul. The gods are meant to be the master for them, specifically many of them. A god has many angels for them to command. None of them has the ability to disobey, or even make an act of treason.

"(Y/N), i must conclude that you've done your task for Lady Hela?"

A voice snapped your consciousness from taking over your mind and body from the emptiness you see.

"Oh yes, sorry for the wait, Rafaela"

You and her walk side to side, from the distance you can see the Fountain of Resurrection. It's a place, between Heaven and Hell. For all the angels from both Heaven and Hell to input or extract a task from their God or Goddess. And even Demon.

You, aren't in a very comfortable place. As though you are one of the angel who was born in Hell. Made to accomplish the task that were ordered from the pit of fire, made to destroy or even hate. But the God and Goddess, who were in contract by the Demon Lord won't make you commit your sin. As long as you do your job.

"Are there any interesting task you've got?" Rafaela asked when you both arrived just right in front of the Fountain of Resurrection.

"Nothing in absurd perhaps, only as usual. Keeping the eye of the evil ones in the land of dawn, making the dark and the light more balanced, that sort of things"

Rafaela nodded, as you both inputs the information your God, Goddess and the Demon Lord have fulfilled. Many angels from Heaven and Hell come around the fountain for the exact same purpose. But there is only one angel who lacks at distributing the task.

"Hey (Y/N), can you get Argus to come and extract these? He's been guarding at the gate and nothing else, he sometimes can be such a pain in the wings"

Rafaela pointed towards the gate of heaven, making your eyes slanted a little to make sure which direction she's trying to point. At last, your vision landed on an angel who are leaning towards the Gate of Heaven. You fly across until you reach the bare distance and stopped right by him.

"Ar-"

"What do you want?"

You raised one of your eyebrows, sign of a surprised reaction. His both arms are still folded, his head is looking downwards, his eyes won't even open to see your appearance.

"I just got a word from Rafaela, she said that you should extract the tasks at the Fountain of Resurrection"

He look up just to make eye contact with you, but the way he stares at you, is a sign of guilty. You don't know why his vision suddenly softened when he realized it was you. He quickly stood up straight from leaning, and leaves the spot where he was leaning.

"Uh, that's fascinatingly weird" you said.

"It sure is" an angel appeared, seems to have a beak on his face appearance. He appeared out of nowhere then came leaning towards the wall Argus was leaning.

"Oh Kaja, im sure didn't expect you to be here"

As for Kaja, he's a hard working angel. Not often every angel see him relaxing instead of working. Maybe something has come up. You started to think, maybe he's accompanying Argus after work?

"Well, angels deserve to relax don't they?"

"You are correct"

You both laughed in lighted expression. You face the way where Argus was going, you don't know why the way he acted most surprised you. No angels have landed their sight as soft as he did. Maybe it's just a coincidence? You thought.

"I've never seen Argus' soft stare"

You furrowed your eyebrows to sign that you're not capable of understanding this circumstances. You look over to Kaja and seemed curious about his words.

"What do you mean?"

"I was meant to say, maybe he has landed an interest on you"

Still don't know what he meant, you just act like you do. Nodding in agreement even though the info he told you wasn't processed inside your head. Suddenly, a call was made for you. There is an emergency meeting the Demon Lord held up. Including the God and Goddess.

"Catch you later Kaja"

He nodded as you flew towards to the Table of Decision. Some Gods and Goddesses have arrived there and so as the Demon Lord. One of his assistants too. The opening went pretty fast, it has become a conclusion. The Gods and Goddesses went straight to the point where the Demon Lord has broke the contract.

"I thought you've handled the things down" one of the gods said.

As an angel of assistant, you always take notes in every meeting. Making a conclusion out of every single meeting. But this meeting, you thought, are a serious problem to be solved.

"I was well pleased for the contract, but it was out of my knowledge that some demon was out in the land of dawn"

You widened your eyes in disbelief. You wanted to say what in a very loud tone. But an angel shouldn't cut their masters while they're talking.

"I believe we have underestimate your subordinates, we conclude that there are some of yours that wanted to make an act of treason"

An angel was being stared by the Gods and Goddess. The Demon Lord know nothing, he was king of surprised at first. Because the angel was his second in command. The Demon Lord stare deeply into his subordinate's eyes, grinning his teeth. Sign of anger has released.

"I should've put (Y/N), rather than you for my second in command"

"No, please. I've never done anything wrong" the angel beg for mercy as though he knew a punishment was being made for him.

"Despite us being Gods and Goddess, we know exactly which is truth, and which is lie"

The angel blanked his stare, but he closed his fist as he grinned his teeth. He turned his wrath faced towards you. He approached you while stomping his feet, but because of the distance he flew with the speed of light. Landed in front of you. He grabbed your colar neck as he lifted you upwards.

"YOU!"

He shouted as you're trying to let go, his fist are very strong. You couldn't help but a little suffocated because of his grasp.

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

In his grab, you can't do anything but struggle to let go. You don't even know why this is your fault. As the Demon Lord was about to help you from your misery, an angel attacked him and instantly made him away a few distance. You were held by the angel who helped you. Your weak body stares deep into your savior, who has made you even more weak to know who rescued your being.

"An angel would never treat others like so"

You looked at the one who saved you, you were a little shock to see who that is. The mysterious man whose personality changed when he sees you.

"Argus?!" you shouted.
