Archie gives me a ride home after school, I'm still shocked that he remembers me

Still shocked by how much he's changed

Still shocked of how easily he can get angry

Still shocked that he still has feelings for me

But I'm shocked even more that he waited for me

After all these years I thought he would leave me.

But he proved me wrong

He gets put the car as he parks in my driveway

He quickly comes and opens my door, I stepped out the car and stand in front of him, I feel a tear roll down my cheeks, I watch as his face turns into worry as he wipes my tears, I cry out full heartedly as I bury my face into his chest, and feel his arms wrap around me and I felt secured.

His embrace is still the same as I remember warm, comforting, and welcoming.
