Left behind: Frozen In Time (Discontinued)

Author's note - I made a mistake in the last chapter. The group was meant to be talking upstairs and then go downstairs to check on Clarice. Now on with the story.

Abbey's POV:

I follow daddy downstairs and watched as he knelt next to Clarice who was laying on a bench. Clarice mumbled something that I couldn't hear so I went closer wanting to know if I could help. Then the arguing began, daddy and Marcos were getting angry at Caitlin. I couldn't help but remember when my old parents would get angry and start shouting at each other. I turned and ran back upstairs to daddy and I's room. When I got there I noticed that no one had followed me. I was scared and I wanted the shouting to stop. I wanted daddy but I knew he was busy. I grabbed my bear from my bag and climbed onto the bed, hugging Mr bear as I lay down trying not to listen to the shouting. I closed my eyes and let myself fall asleep.

Two hours later I woke up confused. There was yelling and a lot of banging. I hurried out of the room to see what was going on. There were portals everywhere! I ran back into the room and grabbed my bag and my bear before running downstairs to hide. Everyone was running out side and I couldn't see daddy anywhere. "Daddy!" I yelled looking around. A hand grabbed my arm and I looked up to see Lauren looking at me. "Your dad is with Clarice, we have to get outside where it is safe, come on!" she told me. I was scared and I wanted my daddy but I nodded and followed her outside. 

We stayed outside for about five to ten minutes before the portals stopped and daddy came outside. He looked around before spotting me. "Abbey!" he cried before running over to me and picking me up holding me tight. I threw my arms around his neck while holding Mr bear in one hand "daddy, I was so scared, I couldn't find you and the shouting scared me" I told him. "It's ok now, I've got you, I'm sorry I didn't come looking for you, I had to take care of Clarice. I'm sorry about the shouting, I won't let people shout in front of you again, I promise" he said as he picked up my bag and carried me back inside.
