We were all in our positions. Me and my mom were in front of my dad and some of the warriors. We have the powers, sooo. My mom had a boulder ready while I had an idea set in mind.

I want this battle to be fun. Like an actual fun type of battle, you know. Like not just using your powers to end the battle within seconds.

I have my katanas ready. They are both the same color. A teal type color. I only got them for battling but it was really a gift from my dad and I love them because it basically goes with my vampires eyes.

I had one in each hand and was ready to battle. I was quite nervous to set the blade to flames but my dad said if they get ruin, he can replace them but they are still my favorite.

My dad told the warriors to stay in the kingdom and wait until they come in. My mom is staying here and is going to be throwing the pile of rocks we have at the enemy's. My dad will be throwing orders around while I walk out of the kingdom. I'll be battling from the outside. Maybe. Looks like a change in plans.

"I GOT THE SECOND WALLS UP. WARRIORS. GO BEHIND THAT WALLS WITH ME. NOW" my dad ordered. Basically there is an extra wall if we need it.

My dad kissed my mom and hugged her. I took in another shaky breath. My dad pulled me into a hug and pulled back and held me by the shoulders.

"You are strong. You got this Harley. Don't let them bring you down. I love you" my dad said. "I love you too. Be careful" I said. He nodded and kissed my forehead before heading to the second wall. He stood in that entry way. His eyes held my mothers for a moment. He gave a nod. Then he turned to me. He nodded with a smirk. I smirked.

"NOW" my father ordered. No, I'm not wearing my cloak. I ran out of the kingdom and they all lunged at me and I got on my knees with my katanas out and slid across the silver bridge.

Many died right there and then. I dodged the rock my mom was throwing at a larger army and I lit the rock on fire to make it more damage.

Many came at me and I was dodging as many attacks as I could. I felt a slice on my side. Right side. My left cheek.

I felt another on my leg. But, I'm strong. I won't give up. I blocked another attack and chopped someone's head off. I did a backflip to dodge the sword aimed for my abdomen. Awe, why do they want me dead so bad. I was pouting.

I guess my dad saw because he laughed. His laughter was loud and hearty. My favorite to hear. He might seem like a mean old grinch but, really. He is a big old softy. Even though I know he is hiding something.

As I was landing I plunged one of my katana in his neck while the other blocked his sword. Then I pulled it out and cut off its head.

I saw an army heading for the gates and threw a fireball there and they went to flames. Good.

I spun around and ducked to dodge the axe that was heading for my neck. I stabbed the lady and then I killed her for good.

I looked around, they were all dead. All of them. I let my Vampire surface some because then we can see further and our senses are heightened like a thousand percent it feels like.

I continued to look around. My mom was out of the kingdom grounds coming towards me. Once ten feet from me she was cautious.

"Honey, they are gone." My mom said. "Mom. Something doesn't feel right" I said looking around. I looked at her and there was an arrow heading for her. I shoved her out of the way and took the arrow.

I fell to the ground. It had poison on it. "SAMUEL" my mom yelled. Soon my dad was right by my side. Twenty of our warriors following.

"Warriors. Spread the word. Keep the kingdom on lockdown. Keep it heavily guarded. Outside and in. Watch for arrows and poison. Suit up." My dad ordered while taking the arrow out of me and picking me up. He began running towards the castle with my mom following.

I held pressure on the wound. I lifted my hand off and there was black goo on it. It just shows I was poisoned.

I let my hand drop to my side but it was soon dangling away from me as we approached the castle Sam, Allison, Ben, and Colby ran out towards us. Elton, Jake, Corey, Devyn, Xepher, Aaron all stood at the door.

"Why the hell did you do that Harley" my mom said still determined on the castle doors. "Wasn't going to let you go." I said weakly.

I tried to mask it but I knew they saw through it. My dad sped up leaving a lot behind. We are running through the halls of the kingdom.

"I love you dad" I said as if it was my last time. "No. Don't. Your going to live. Your going to live. You are going to survive this Harley" my dad said. More to himself. But alright.

We were soon in the infirmary and he laid me on the red and white cot. Red sheets and white pillow. Doctors immediately surrounded me and began working.

I laid there. Staring at the ceiling. They checked my brainwaves and everything. They kept shooting things in my veins. Probably to reverse the effects of the poison. I mean. I hope so.

I was to scared to close my eyes. The thought of if I closed my eyes, would I ever wake up.
