Chapter 30

"HEY! LEE MINHO!! LOOK, I THINK WE GOT YOU A GIRLFRIEND!!" Chanyeol shouted and Minho closed the car trunk. 

"Not cool, hyung. She's probably younger than me," Minho laughed. 

I turned to Ryujin, "Don't mind them. Anyway, where is the Seon Medical Team?"

"Oh, uhm..that..they're arriving tomorrow. I was just given the order to go here first and check on the patients you'll leave," she said. "No problem, though. UN's clinic staff will be here with me."

"Aren't you the youngest in your team? You look like you just graduated college or something."

She nodded, "Yeah. I'm taking my first year nursing internship in Seon Hospital. It's for my pre-med course, nothing big yet. My sunbaes are just really lazy, that's why."

"That's sad. We'll accompany you while we're waiting for the 2nd trip. And to make you feel better about your sunbaes, I left a list of what each patient needs by the diagnostic room at the back."

"Thank you, Doctor Park. Anyway, I'll go settle myself inside."

The car started it's engine at my back.

"We'll see you in the airport, Professor!!" Yeri shouted. 

I turned around and smiled, "Take care of the idiots!"

"Hey, Anne? Please accompany Ryujin-ssi and take her a little tour inside the storage room. She'll need a hand with the pharmaceutical materials," I ordered. 

"Sure, doc."

Now that Ryujin's here and the medical staff of her hospital is coming, I have nothing else to do. All I can say is that..it's been a great experience. 

I would've regretted turning it down if I had let my feelings towards Jungkook take over me. But despite getting and experiencing something great, I have lost someone great too. 

Have we both decided that it's just a friendship? What about his confession to me a few months ago? Boys feelings just change so quickly. 

"Chae, we'll head inside, coming?" Jihyo asked. 

"No, I'm gonna walk around for a while. You guys go ahead," I replied. 

"Just stay around the hospital, professor," Yunhyeong said and entered the hospital.

Everyone else followed and I looked back at the nice view in front of me. The wind just blew my hair to its direction and the sun's rays were not piercing my skin. 

I decided to take a walk around the place for 1 last time. 

My white shoes started to walk on the ground full of small pebbles and sand. The grass isn't green nor is it brown. It has a yellow tint on it and they look like the grain plants but really..they're just weeds. 

I hummed along while the wind blew onto my face, my hands spread outward to feel the wind. My legs felt cold because of the wind, I should've worn pants or joggers if I knew the weather wouldn't be in my favour. 

Then all of a sudden, the ground started to shake. I lost control of my balance then gained it after the shake. 

And again, the ground shook, this time stronger. 

In less than 5 seconds, it shook really hard and longer. I collapse on my knees and used my hands to protect my head. 

Then I took a look at the hospital.

"Shit.." I muttered.

The glass were all breaking, the walls cracked and the hollow blocks dust were falling out. I covered my eyes to make sure the dust wouldn't go to me. Especially how the wind blew it right off.
